I saw the Doors in 1967 in Chicago at the Colliseum across

from the yards. Morrison was great, the band was great.

It was the first rock concert I'd ever seen. I was eleven

years old. The Colliseum held about 5 thousand people,

and the place was packed. When Morrison would start

to improvise or start doing some poetry the whole hall

went SILENT. It was like a town hall meeting. Absolutely

fantastic. It cost $4.50 to get in.
