  • @sabbathmc97 ROTFLMAO!!!!!

  • NOT BAD!

  • I love it, true roots right here. You can tell they still hand not " found " them selves....cool video...1975, this was about 3 years before I discovered them for myself. Stain class, my all time favorite album.

  • The dude in the begining looks like a somewhat disinterested butler who works in some kind of dungeon castle haha.

  • I started laughing when i saw this video cause after watching the painkiller video you could think this is another band

  • Kind of reminds me of spinal tap's gimme some money, the way the changed styles alot

  • time when Rob Halford was one young gay

  • Wow!...vocalist Rob Halford sure looked different with long hair back in 1975, doesn't he??....he looks like a teenager here in this video!!...seems like guitarist Glenn Tipton hasn't aged at all!...he still looks the same to me nowadays!

  • That announcer makes me wanna fucking puke!!

  • Perfect! Eine der besten aufführungen Ich habe gesehen, schwer =)

  • Did they fade into a studio recording?

  • So i guess everyone was affected by the hippie movement

  • Holy shit! rob is that you?

  • @corimarquez HAHAH i know i was the same way

  • its hard to imagine that that long haired hippie-esque looking singer would become what we know him now as-metal rocker.

  • @downstairs9999 more like we know him as "The Metal God" lol \m/ \m/

  • I don't agree with everthing you said, but you make some valid points. Take care bra.

  • Holy shit you can hear Ian's bass

  • in atlanta ga, the 2nd largest gay population in america, the majority act like drama queen divas, as long they are friendly and arent hetrophobic, i have no problem with them, my sisters gay roommates are probably the funniest people ive ever met, and tell each other gay jokes and they dont get mad when people say fag as long as its not in a threatening way, its the majority of them that act like if you arent gay you are against them, sorry for telling you too fuck off, you're pretty cool

  • cool fellas'

  • It's heavy metal disco!

  • Judas Priest's first album is fuckin amazing

  • @caio20118 You're right my man. In my opinion Rocka Rolla is their best album and certaintly their most misunderstood.

  • @bluu999 I don't think Rocka Rolla is their best. It's a great album the most bluesy out of all their LPs. But lets set things straight Priest started around Sad Wings Of Destiny and Sin After Sin. Their breakthru album was British Steel and along with Painkiller I think it's their best. Beside those I think Stained Class and Angel Of Retribution are absolute masterpieces. But after all Judas Priest never really released a bad album. Everyone will find something special in their catalog

  • hahhaha the host is dr zaius!!

  • Rob with long hair.....Ian dressed like that....

    Mindblown

  • My god they've changed haha

  • \m/ \m/

  • thanks for posting this old ass school shit

  • Holy shit Rob looks awesome!

  • Haha! That show host is hilarious...

*Soft British Accent* - Thou wished the finest, therefore thou hast the finest. The hottest ensemble upon thy earth…Judas Priest!

Metal has sure come a long way! Long live Priest!

  • Hahahaha Espetaculo

  • hard to believe these guys recorded "Painkiller"..:-)

  • @hellraiser7974 Well, it is hard indeed, but only when you are not aware of JP's evolution through the years...

You can see how the next album - Sad Wings of Destiny - was already a big step into that "Painkillerish" direction.

So, for me, there are Painkiller's fans (which is really ok) and there is Judas Priest's fans...

    Cheers man!!

  • @hellraiser7974

    Or Ram it Down... *shudders*

  • @hellraiser7974 No it isn't. Every metalhead knows that blues are at the root of it.

  • That tv host is just so... creepy...

  • The days before K.K. Downing discovered the chorus effect!

  • Rob with long hair??? Thanks for the upload!

  • can you imagine painkiller evolved......

  • 1:11 to start the music.

  • Song rocka rolla for me is beginning of real heavy metal.

  • glenn hahhahaha nice hat and clothes

  • @TheMetalforlife1 that would be KK

  • 2:17 "Status Quo" anyone? .-)

  • I have to say that, as a whole, the Rocka Rolla album isn't a favorite of mine. The title track is awesome though, and very tightly constructed. I actually like their take on Zeppelin better than I enjoy Zeppelin. The lyrics seem a bit generic, but there's a great guitar riff and I can't deny the catchiness of this. It's funny to see this. My uncle looks a lot like Rob Halford (and is around the same age.) He was pretty big into Priest when he was younger. Priest will always be the Metal Gods!

  • Sin After Sin was only two years after this. Wow eh? :)

  • Halford resembles Timo Kotipelto from Stratovarius!

  • Glenn, darling... ^^

  • lol reminds me of spinal tap

  • Лучшее видео!!!

  • 4:28 creepy

  • Nice! Cool! Great! I like it!

  • i have this on vinyl, and it says his name is bob halford

  • perfect in almost every detail, showing what to expect over the next five years, knows that it's easy to say with hindsight, but this is so good, thanks for posting!

  • Comment removed

  • @thedeadsoilworker uhh,This is 1975. He even says Rob's name.

  • Holy hell, they're all hippies! I've never seen Priest this early on in their career!

  • Hmmmmmm Whispering Bob Harris :0)

  • This what should be played on the radio. REAL ROCK!!!

  • A.W.E.S.O.M.E

  • Glenn is like : HURRY THE FUCK UP! 1:02

  • 5 dislikes from homophobic brainless..

  • @ulkucureisakdere06 hey punk, i hate fags but i love rob, has nothing to do with any phobia, i just enjoy a hot wet tight pulsating pussy waaaay more than bunghole, and most fags arent as masculine as rob

  • @jmoney31705 Dude... Does every homosexual creep up behind you and force you to penetrate them? You really shouldn't hate on someones sexuality. That's so 50's...

  • @TiipX dude.... i dont.... but they sure seem to hate on my sexuality, its like they think everyone who isnt gay is against them, when i could just care less, they're not an ethnic group or a different race, they dont need special rights, they're people just like everyone else on the planet but they act like they are so special when they're just fags like the romans, i bet you hate blacks, and my girlfriend is black, so go fuck off

  • @jmoney31705 What the fuck are you talking about? I don't hate black people? The opposite really. I don't know about what gay people you have stumbled upon, but i can tell ya that i don't know any homosexual that irritates me. Yes, they are just like everyone else and they should absolutely not be treated differently. The gay culture is evolving thanks to the fact that people are open with their sexuality. Of course they are celebrating a bit extra. No big deal. :)

  • Halford might be gay as fuck but I bet he still banged more chicks than 99% of the negative comment authors on this and every Halford vid.

  • Gotta hand it to Ian Hill. Such a quiet guy and so under rated. He pulls through here.

  • Rob Halford... CABELUDO?!

  • How they transformed, I love it.

  • I wish i could see this whole show

  • K.K. Fresh from his stint with Skynyrd.

  • When Judas Priest dressed like Rush.

  • Before they meet leather

  • Comment removed

  • They looked like hippies back then

  • @DruDixon777

No, that's what the real cool bands used to look like!

A month before the record here hit the stores, I was alreary a fan!

Oh, boy... did I get some flak for that, or what.

Still a fan of JP. Forever fan of JP. I'm gonna live forever being a fan of JP. So far it has been working just fine, so I'll keep on dancing on the graves of the people opposing JP. ;)

  • roots of metal, just saying ... ^^,

  • at 3:15 who thought he said "tampon igniter"?

  • @superfartdog That's what it sounded like to me.

  • @superfartdog lol does sound like he says it

  • @superfartdog Dam! I swear that's what I heard LOL

  • @superfartdog Forever I thought that too... plus, I thought the song was about an old barfly lesbian so somehow it all made sense, haha.

  • The intro song is Area Code 615 Stone Fox Chase

  • best Judas Priest album ever.

  • @BetePete You have to remember that this was 1975, it was most likely considered heavy as shit as that time. ;-)

  • How many people are buried? AND If the band that played this show isn't around anymore... hmmmm...

  • Robs got hair!

This is a great song. One of the first songs I learned on bass.

  • this actually sounds better than the studio version

  • these guys were skinny lol

  • @daveni2 on one of there documentaries, they said they weren't making enough money for one meal a day, back before sin after sin came out

  • @TheAdam159 .. Yes indeed, totally I agree with you

  • They just don't make music like this anymore. So Disapointing....

  • they should have played painkiller ...

  • @wiklund1337 In 1975? Painkiller was written in 1990, 25 years later.

  • @ZappaSheik thats exacly why, it was music for the 90s not the 70s ;) Imagen the face of the people in the crowd , and with thier cloths and stuff haha

  • @wiklund1337 I den meningen är det väldigt coolt men BBC skulle nog dra ur kontakten

I don't think BBC would liked it but it would be cool, they could have done The Ripper that they played on their live concerts but didn't relese until the year after

  • @ZappaSheik Pinkiller? 1985,asshole!!!!! XD

  • @HENRYxSICK released 1990 first singel from the album Painkiller the last album with halford until Angel of retribution 2005

  • Ian "Jesus" Hill

  • Oh god, that guitar tone... it just cuts to the core of me...

  • Thumbs up if you noticed that they were filming the rhythm guitarist during the solo

  • Does anyone else click back to 1:29 because Rob sings his line in an epic way?

  • @LedZeppelin2055 Wow... I thought I was the only one doing that haha

  • impresionante este video, estaban super jovenes y su sonido y vestimenta totalmente a lo que hoy por hoy son The Metal God's

  • 70s' <3

  • They look fucking gay here. They looked cooler in the 90's

  • @AnthonVictorChannel Gotta agree with you. Halford is hard to look at here. Sounds very good though.

  • Big difference between Rocka Rolla and Painkiller.

  • How MANY people are buried in the host's basement and/or backyard???

  • @cincyrocked Good Question....... :-)>

  • @cincyrocked HAHAHA thats funny dude

  • @cincyrocked 3 dislikers

  • @cincyrocked 2½

  • @cincyrocked - that was funny as hell.

  • @cincyrocked that was the funny as hell man

  • I should really check out Rocka Rolla. It's the first time I've heard this song, or album. I like it! Funky and groovy. Sounds like Zep, Purple, or early Rush. Very different to their later output, indeed!

  • Halford with hair this long... WTF

  • @ZiP0nlY

His hair was that long in 1988, but he wore it in a ponytail.

  • Imagine if they had composed Painkiller back then and played it at this show :X
