Ace Attorney Series Review

I just started with Ace Attorney, and i'm loving every minute of it!

Well there are different soundtracks for all the games, but sometimes its not all that noticeable. Especially between 1 and 2, but 3, 4 and edgeworth all have pretty unique soundtracks. And in my opinion, they're all pretty damn good!

Actually the wiiware version of phoenix wright is like the GBA, since you don't have a touch screen .

I didn't know the series was rare, i've got them all on DS but probably because i got them when they first came out.

they annouced that there will be a fifth ace attorney game not sure who'll star in it, but they have annouced they will do a fifth game.

It is a great series of course, and I think the DS is one of the best gaming consoles ever, let alone handhelds.

It is a great investment!

Investigations came out today, and it's AMAZING. Although, Edgeworth is my favourite character, so I suppose I can't help but love it :P

I am still waiting on my copy and I am definitely psyched to play it. Miles Edgeworth is a great character, not my favorite, that would still be either Phoenix Wright or Franziska von Karma. But you can't go wrong with Miles.

Also great to see they are going back to the original timeline instead of Apollo Justice.

Now if only Capcom would announce Gyakuten Saiban 5 with the return of Phoenix Wright and more important Maya, Pearl, Mia and the other characters. I want to know how they are doing!

Still not sure if Apollo Justice will be released since it was an original DS game. Part 3 will be released for sure next month.

I thought this game was stupid, but just 2 days ago i decided to give it a try on Wiiware port, i was Sucked right in too the game and couldn't stop playing!

tomorrow im going to gamestop and pick up all of the games! haha

This series is one of my favorites too. I own all the Phoenix Wright games, and I have yet to play Apollo Justice, but I will do it very soon. I also ordered Miles Edgeworth, I hope it's good. :)

My favorite case in the series has to be the final one in the third game. I was like "WHAT" during the whole story.

Yeah the 1-5 and 3-5 case were the best of the series. Of course 3-5 because it is the final case of the trilogy and ties all together.

I also ordered Miles Edgeworth today for 17 euro. Really looking forward to it!

What do you think of Apollo Justice? Is it worth buying? As I said I've only played the Phoenix Wright games, and I'm kinda used to these characters now, so it would feel very weird to play as others. :/ But if it's good, I'll get it.

Apollo Justice is a great game. Yes, there are not a lot of characters from the original series, which is sadly a big loss.

But the game itself is really refreshing. The graphics and the music are different and better. And the new characters are a lot of fun. It feels like the black sheep in the series so far, especially if they go back to PW from now on.

But yes, I really recommend it to fans of the series.

Yeah, the game are out a long time, but I have only been playing them the last year.

However I meant that the AA series is one of my newest favorite game series. Just like Uncharted and Mass Effect with their great sequels recently.

Honestly I am not sure, being DS-less however, I certainly hope so, plus its nice to play it on a tv instead of on a tiny screen (or two in this case)

Personally the DS feels perfect for the visual novel type game. But I guess a TV wont change that much.

You havent played the fifth case or didnt enjoy the 5th case?

To be honest, the fifth case of PW1 was extremely long and a bit frustrating because I wanted to wrap up the case.

However in retrospect it is one of the best cases of the series and you can definitely see they added the fifth case at a later date.

Because technically it used a lot of new gameplay mechanics not seen in the first three games.

Also I really liked the new characters they showed in the fifth case.
