hey dude, I have a little suggestion: why don't you put some pokemon of the other generations on the game? (not all of them, just a few, maybe 6 or 8, i don´t now, is just a suggestion)
you should make as the final boss is missingno and if you catch it at the end you can use missingno to fight ghost,givving you a chance to survive and give a different ending or if you dont use ghost at all the ghost dont killl you
@MrMickio1 The whole point of the CreepyPasta in the first place was to be creepy. Avoiding death is not creepy. The irony behind using a pokemon to easily destroy anything and everything that comes back in the end and kills you yourself is the whole point. Maybe throw in an easter egg or something, but the ending, in my opinion, should match the original story.
@neo39925 Honestly, There are issues with leaving it as-is. My memory's fuzzy, but the cave where Mewtwo's kept only opens AFTER defeating the Elite Four and using the cleared save. The way the ending goes, that's not possible, since it deletes the save. That'd have to change, I feel.
It should probably vary depending on how many, and who. I can see someone playing 'Ghost.Rider' and punishing/killing the 'wicked', as well as going total slaughterer or not using it at ALL.

Maybe you can even change some of the other dialogue too, like gym leaders, elite four, Giovanni, etc. Just a suggestion....to make it less "boring" as you put it. Don't worry. To be honest I'm fine with the game being changed a bit. I know it might not be exactly the same as the original story but you managed to capture what made the story so interesting and thats good enough for me, yeah it would be nice to see the game get finished one day but I can wait.
I like it how you made the ghost have a personality, and actual talk to its owner, makes things more understandable, and overall a better story.
Trainers being able to react to actually seeing the ghost and saying things like "what the hell is that thing?" is the cherry on the top, keep on the good work.

@LuisReefTank It kinda kills the authenticity though... <_< And Also, I did notice some changes from the original story (Which I personally do believe- I've seen hacked Pokemon cartridge games that have never been heard of before, like a Chinese (I'm PRETTY sure it wasn't Japanese) version of blue where Blastoise was a legendary Pokemon, not unlike modern Pokemon game mascots. I think there is some validity to the story, even if it isn't true...
@TheInunah The skills I have to make this are as relevant to ROM hacking as building a fire is to building a computer. I wish people knew how far apart homebrew and ROM hacking is in terms of relevance, at least in the level of skill I personally have.
@dabr1dg3 Seriously, if you can do this, you can probably do much more. If I had done this, I would have gotten the sprites and gave up, since I can't seem to learn programming.
