  • dude if your gonna get a turbo invest into a good one. making scions look bad come one

  • that TC is pretty slow for real… should be WAY faster

  • Lmao poor scion , well they got poor engine anyways

  • @cvthugs yeah it was pretty quick but... yeah that poor engine... it's probably already dead lmao

  • @withered962 Poor engine? Wow, that's news to me. Guess mine was blessed from the heavens to survive the stuff I've thrown at it. Including way more boost than this tC in this video.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Please tell me your not another internet "gaurd of "X ,"car brand."

  • @NancyPelosi1954 I am a turbo tC enthusiast. I like watching vids of tCs that are boosted. I also use to own a 350z that I was drifting. So I watch a lot of vids, comment, and I make a lot of vids myself. Unlike those people who go around commenting on vids, 99% of them are all talk. And 99% of them don't know what they are actually talking about. You can check out my youtube page to give you some sort of indication on whether or not I know what I'm talking about.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 can't even count how many times I've had people ask me or think the tC had a 1.8L motor in it...lol. If no one responds, how will anyone ever learn.

  • @rhythmnsmoke It's not your job, people on youtube aren't responing on videos of this nature out of the kindness of their heart and you know it.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 Its not anyone's job. They usually shut up though after someone with real knowledge replies.

  • Must be fun putting all that turbo work into a scion and still having no top end.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 Turbo work? LOL....it has no front mount intercooler, 6psi of boost, and most likely running on stock injectors. That's not turbo work, that's a turbo slapped on with a pipe running directly into the throttle body. Go look at my videos if you want to see turbo "work".

  • @rhythmnsmoke "And still having no top end." You too.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 If I have no top end, I feel sorry for the M3, S2k, 350z, Evo, Z28 Camaro, STI and Vette...lol. They must REALLY have no top ends with me walking on them.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 And what was it you drove again?

  • @rhythmnsmoke freventon of course, doesn't matter I know what I drive and know that it's top end is far from fast, what of it?

  • @NancyPelosi1954 And I know what I have raced and walked on....on the top end, so I just find it funny you mentioned I didn't have top end...lol.

  • @rhythmnsmoke what is top end to you, 150 mph? lol

  • @NancyPelosi1954 At 150mph I would be 6+ car lengths out so no. Top end to me starts at 110mph. My friends bolt on Z28 Camaro that I ran, at 140mph I was 6 cars ahead. Its on video.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Let's be honest here...what does your car really top out at?

  • @NancyPelosi1954 Currently its 150mph. Only because I'm on a stock motor. Once the motor is built it will be around 165-170mph. Once I get the PTuning dog box transmission, which has reworked gear ratios then it will be 180ish mph.

Factory is 6250rpm redline and 127mph electronic limited. And I currently redline at 6800 and do 150mph.

  • @rhythmnsmoke 180 mph would be about as terrifying as it can get in a scion tc. Insane and very respectable build none the less but more than scary in a FF layout vehicle.

  • @NancyPelosi1954 Proper Aero mods are key (I.e...functional splitter, wing and canards). Tires and brakes on par to slow it down is a must. By the time I'm reaching those speeds, 285wide slicks, BBK, roll cage and new Kognitiondesign Aero will be in place. Currently rocking APR Aero gear.

  • its a camry engine what do you expect hahaha.

  • @TacoManTuesday An engine that's capable of handling 1500hp when built right.

  • WHACHA GONNA DO NIGGA WACHAAA GONNA DOOOO? WOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • meh, low boost

  • 6 psi is nothing, anything above 8 would of been gone

  • @trento728 Isn't it past your bed time?

  • @trento728 Sorry, I don't roll that way.

  • @trento728 I'm glad

  • @trento728 Stay in school kid.

  • @trento728 Strongly based on the corolla is something you continue to tell yourself even after probably looking up the information. You keep telling yourself that so you can feel better about your false information you have convinced yourself to be true when it's a load of shit. There is nothing Corolla or Corollaesque in the tC kid. No sense in arguing with you about it since you are one of those type of people who will continue on with stupid comments further away from truth. I'm done.

  • @trento728 There is no such article in existence stop clowning yourself. You are starting to sound like every other little Ricer Youtube kid that gets on here thinking he knows what he is talking about. Who puts a turbo in a Scion....hmm...Chris Rado' World Racing (World record holder at 10 tracks across the US for fastest FF car and 3 time Unlimited FWD Time Attack champ), PTuning (2 Time Modified FWD Time attack champs), Kenny Tran (pro drag racer), Rockstar/AEM,....the list goes on.

  • @trento728 Unfortunately people want a turbo and try to go about it the cheapest way possible. Hence why you have real low boosting setups when the motor can handle a lot more. It's not my tC, so I can not tell you why this guy went that route. As mentioned though, it's not my tC, had it been, this G35 would have been a waste of my gas. And again, it is based on the Toyota Avensis. I can find you NUMEROUS articles describing the tC's chassis and send them to you, so you can get it right

  • @trento728 If you knew anything about Auto manufactures then you would know that they commonly associate a LOT of their vehicles with other vehicles in their line up. This is nothing new. All the drifting Scions? Dude, there is only two....lol. One is a V8, the Other uses the same motor that comes in the tC (it still makes 600whp by the way). And just FYI....the V8 tC will not be V8 for this season. They are putting the factory motor back in it. You make stuff up with the Corolla comment

  • @trento728 Why is it that every time you provide people with accurate and factual information, their first comment is to assume that person is butt hurt? I've just educated you, so that the next time you make a post about a tC, you don't look stupid. I'm doing you a favor....hardly getting butt hurt as so you would say. Only little kids automatically assume the other guy with real knowledge on the subject...is "butt hurt".

  • @trento728 Fact #4: There isn't anything on the tC that comes from the Toyota Corolla. Fact #5: I've owned this car for 5 years (since they came out) been boosted for 4 of those 5 years and know quite a bit about it. Fact #6: You made stuff up. As for it being "fair" the G already comes with more HP/TQ and two more cylinders. This tC has the bottom of the barrel turbo setup with the minimal amount of boost that you will find. Wouldn't be fair for the G to race properly boosted tC.

  • @trento728 Maybe in Virtual Fantasy land that may be true. But here on Earth (the real world), that is some made up stuff you came up with in your head. Fact #1: tC has the chassis from the European Toyota Avensis AWD vehicle. Hence why a tC is allowed in FD drifting. Fact #2: tC shares the same brake setup from the Celica GTS. Fact #3: The engine code is 2az-fe, same engine code found in the Toyota Camry, but the tC's version is slightly different internally.

  • some douche tried to race my alltrac thnking its a regular fwd celica...he failed miserably..haha

  • he almost had it

  • that sicon is slow as hell yo

  • @trento728 g35 is v6, tc is n/a 2.4 4 banger....... just think about it.... its kinda like saying its sad how a stock lambo will take on a turbo accord....

  • @camvvti Not even close dude.

  • TC's are econobox! Not match for a G35! Not Even with a fucking turbo. What you bitches gonna do?! And yeah I own a 2005 G35 coupe Biotch!

  • Comment removed

  • @DoNotFuckingReply it will get better mpgs with the turbo and a nice tune...just as long he is not IN BOOST though :P so why not have power. Its how i see it...oh BTW nice name lmfaooooo!!

  • the tc kicked the g35's ass..... iunno y the g was soo happy and thought he won.... onli cause he had and extra gear .... but for surr the tc won

  • @SupraPimp14 WTF G35 won so stop hating!!

  • @SupraPimp14 now boost the g35...who do u think would win? stop disrespecting the g35....even with its pig weight and stock setup it was able to keep up with a boosted TC....my friend thats not sayin nething good about the Scion my friend...think next time and stop being so biased...TC is a nice car but its not meant to hang with the big bois...

  • @Flintc08 Against this tC? The G35 would. But just because you add boost to the G35, it does not automatically make it faster than all the boosted tC's, even if both were pushing stock motors. The VQ35DE is not reliable on stock internals at anything over 400whp. The tC can push 350+/- on stock internals while being a lighter vehicle. The tC in this vid is pushing 220whp at most.

  • @trento728 A stock G35 does not beat a fully equipped turbo tC. And the tC is not modeled after a Camry. They share the same engine code and that is as far as it goes. The internals of the engine and tunes are tweaked differently on the tC. This tC is pushing 220whp at most, they handle 350-400whp on a stock motor, so this is by no means a representation of a turbo tC. It's the lowest turbo boosting setup you will find on a tC.

  • People that say they hate tCs and not give a good reason are just plain haters. If you really hate the tC then why are you looking at a tC video on Youtube?

  • WTF is "un-tunned"? Stupid, illiterate street-racers...

  • Wow, a Scion TC driver that's not a girl!

  • tc gets advantage on low gears but the g35 more horsepower capable engine gives it the edge in the long run (kinda like the veyron vs f1 mclaren) good race

  • @dilirent The tC's engine has seen 1200-1400hp. And that's without sleeving the block. So, it's all a matter of how far you want to take it...in the long run.

  • @rhythmnsmoke i meant the tc might be quicker of the bat but the g35 will catch up and and eventually pass it. i understand the tc engine can stomach alot, but thats completely not what i meant ....

  • @dilirent It will catch up to "this" tC. But not a full turbo kitted tC. This tC is only on 6lbs of boost. They can run 12-14lbs on stock internals before needing an upgrade to the bottom end. 10lbs on a tC is enough to leave a G35 like it was standing still.

  • @rhythmnsmoke true to point. but what would you prefer?

  • @dilirent All depends on what I was using the car for. This being a G35 "sedan", no way would I pick it for racing. Suitable for carrying the grocery and kids and that's about it. I use to own a 350z. Sold it not to long ago. So, I wouldn't take a G35 for racing period, would use the 350z instead. As for the tC, I would use it for racing as well. Although it's heavy for a 4banger coupe, the 2az-fe motor is one helluva beast on boost. I've pulled on Evo's, STI, MS3, my own 350z..etc

  • @dilirent I enjoy a well done up Scion tC. This one in this vid is like the bottom of the barrel turbo setups on a tC. It's only pushing 6lbs, and most likely not running an Intercooler, not running management, not running fuel injectors either. The factory ECU is smart enough to control 6lbs of boost. If the guy was running management, he would be pushing more than 6lbs, and would have walked all over this G.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Wow, you're smokin' a lot of Scion pole. Take it easy, pal... it's a FWD econobox, regardless of how much FI you waste your money on.

  • @350Zed You must be sucking on the retard pole. Waste money on? How so? Your screen name is 350zed. I owned a 350z also till I recently sold it. My tC was 3 times faster than my 350z was. Got vid of me racing both of them on my page. Don't act stupid and make dumb comments about something you know nothing about.

  • @rhythmnsmoke You sold a RWD sports car to dump money into a FWD economy coupe. Bravo, genius.

  • @350Zed What part of being 3 times faster did you not understand? The Z was my drift car, not my Street Machine/Road Race/Time Attack. And just a little FYI on that "economy" motor you keep referring to. It makes 350-400whp before you need to rebuild the block. After that, you can just toss in pistons and rods and the block is good for 1000whp without even putting sleeves in it. Chris Rado's Time Attack tC pushes 1200hp on our "economy" motor..

  • @350Zed Rado also has a prepped AWD Scion tC, same motor, est. at 1400hp. If I and when I decided to convert the drivetrain on my tC to RWD it would still remain lighter than a 350z would ever be. I loved my Z, and I actually might get another one (if Toyota does not continue to screw up the FT-86), to drift with. I need another drift car.

  • my turbo RSX isn't slow

  • No probably 130mph because I was doing 120 in my tc on my way to blue mountain

  • Thank you very much! Finally a person who has common sense. True car lovers are not bias.

  • AWD G owner here. I'd have to say TC is a good car. Option to buy one super charged by TRD was nice.

Any true car lover knows not to be bias. One mans car is his baby. It's the PEOPLE who are garbage modders, and not the cars.

My favorite car was a 1986 Hatch Back Corrola.

  • @s0nicstr1fe +1 and remember that ALL cars have DB owners. American. Japanese, euro there are no exceptions

  • scion is really slow for being turbo'd... my stock ms3 beat fuckin g35's

  • tc's are garbage

  • @jbhsjb09 I own one and agree...I would never mod my TC. Its an awesome commuter car but a shit platform for mods.

  • @scuds03 yea like theyre chill lookin cars but to mod HELL NO! lol

  • @scuds03 You should learn more about your own vehicle. Kinda hard to talk about being a shit platform for mods when there are guys running around with 760whp on their tC's, and not to mention the Championship titles the tC owns at the race tracks. Straight dominates Time Attack like 4 yrs in a row now, and owns the world record lap time at like 10 tracks across the country (World Racing). Owns back to back Modified Class Championship Titles in 2008-2009 (PTuning)

  • @scuds03 Back to back championship titles in Edurance racing (Jackson Dawson). If you can't afford to mod your car to make it quick, that's your fault, but don't try and discredit it due to your inability to mod. I have a tC too, and it would be a waste of my gas to even race either two of these in this vid.

  • Too bad the TC is auto.

  • my tc cuts out at 138mph

  • @mamation2 Cool, what engine management are you running?

  • 120? dont tcs shut down around there?

  • @choiiboiy Yep 127mph factory speed cut.

  • Well let's look at the pricing shall we?

    G35 Sedan = $37,000

    Scion tC + Custom Turbo = $20,000

The fact that it kept up with the G is impressive, everybody see's turbo and thinks "OMG IT HAS 2 B FAST!!"

  • @ShocKProductions This turbo setup on this tC is boosting no more than 6lbs. By that low of boost, I estimate the guy is running no intercooler, no serious engine management, and probably a small turbo. He at most spent maybe $3k on the setup if that. A fully equipped boosted tC (one with intercooler, injectors, management, etc) would not keep up with the G.....it would destroy it. I should know, I have a fully equipped boosted tC. Just watch my 350z against my turbo tC and you would see.

  • @rhythmnsmoke I know brother, that's what I was trying to say. And I've seen your videos already, it's nice to see another tC enthusiast :D I own one myself, suckers fun to drive. I just wish I had the money to start modding it. I agree with what you say mostly, and on other videos. Don't worry, I'm a tC fan too :)

  • @ShocKProductions Yeah, it's funny to see people get on here and comment about one car and think that they are all that slow...lol.

  • @rhythmnsmoke If you think of it this way, it's like a stereotype. I get hated on like everyday just because I have a "4-banger" tC, and that makes me a "ricer". Haters will hate brah, that's why we exist :D

But seriously, tC's are sexy ass cars....

  • @ShocKProductions Yeah true that. I overcame that a few years back in my home town. There is no other tC that looks like mine, even though we have about 10 boosted tC's here total. So, most already know my car in the local scene and for the most part don't F with it anymore...lol. But online is a different story. That's why I have so many vids.

  • @ShocKProductions People say stupid stuff, I just reply back with a comment, but I prove it too...lol. Most of the peps hating on these vids are little ricers with nothing else better to do. But it's fun putting them in their place.

  • @ShocKProductions Your comparing old retail data. You forget the G35 stopped production for the G37.

A used G35 sedan can be found for 13,000-17,000 USD

A used tC can be found for 13,000-15,000 USD (WITHOUT TURBO)

Why buy a car to be "Just as fast" as another? Why not just buy the fast car and make it faster?

example: Billy buys a Civic in hopes of beating a viper. He spends time, labor, and money building it. Later he blows a head and realizes he could have saved his money for the viper.

  • @s0nicstr1fe Uhhh, no? Where are you getting your information? A NEW tC is $16,000. Therefore, you can find used tC's for as low as $6,000. Everybody has a different taste in cars. I have a lot of respect for G's, but I'd never buy one...catch my drift?

  • @ShocKProductions Uhh.. yeah? Goto Autotrader and list off the first three listings in your area and I bet the only one lower than 10 grand has over 130k miles on it. I'm also willing to bet the ones that are under blue book are modded out with ebay parts too.

  • @s0nicstr1fe A used tC again, is $6-8k. A used STI or Evo, have a greater chance of being ragged on and a used one still cost as much as a brand new tC. You can't just compare cars on price when one is used and one is new.

  • @s0nicstr1fe A used tC for $13-15k....BHAHAHAAAA right! A built Civic cost no where near the price of a Viper....LOL.

  • @rhythmnsmoke word, civic 2K+full motor built probably around 3-5K + supporting mods 2-3K and at the end 8K will probably be more then enough to build a 10-11 sec civic AND probably smoke a stock 80K viper! lol...

  • @RusWolff "Having a 10 second civic is like comming out of the closet. You might surprise a bunch of people at first, but in the end your still a homo" Sorry I had to say it man LOL but, word. Ok maybe I shouldnt have picked Civic. What I ment by my example is that people drop in money to be fast. Then they drop in money to be faster. Eventually the car has issues and you spend more money. Over time that money could have been an investment. Get it people?

  • @s0nicstr1fe With that mentality, I hope you don't consider yourself as a "car enthusiast". Real enthusiast will appreciate anything that someone put their time into. Especially if it's quick. I hate Honda owners (the douchebag ones, which make up a lot of them), but if I ran across a Civic owner pushing 10's in the 1/4 mile, I would not down him or call him gay for doing it. Making cars faster is not an investment. It's a hobby. If I was rocking an STI, I would STILL want it faster.

  • @rhythmnsmoke it was a joke. and again your taking me to literal. I havent seen too many street Civics pushing 10's but my point being... If I wanted to be fast I would have already got a fast car and left it at that. I appreciate cars for how they were designed. Not for how much I could do to it. Ever wonder why old muscle cars are worth more in original state? I understand where you come from. You appreciate cars for race value & speed.

  • @s0nicstr1fe Sure sounds like you appreciate cars solely on cost, you seem to bring money into the equation every single time. I, as well as many others, however, appreciate cars on how much time, passion, and dedication has been put into it.

But that's nothing a non-car enthusiast would understand...

  • @ShocKProductions Well, it has a lot to do with it. I'd say 2 thirds of it. Yanno? cause If I gotta pay for it, it's gotta be good. ^_^ Maybe I appreciate the value, design and purpose. I just don't see the point in spending my labor and money on something thats not going to benefit me professionally. I don't race cars either. I'm not criticizing what people do or how they enjoy something. I'm just trying to give my opinion based on a "Devils Advocate" point of view.

  • @s0nicstr1fe Then you are a buyer and not a builder. Nothing wrong with either approach. I appreciate what I can do to a car and make it fit "me". I can't do stock in anything unless its like a Zonda or something.

  • @s0nicstr1fe So you pretty much calling all the profesional drag racer's HOMO's ? is Lisa Kudrow a homo to you as well ?

If somebody is building a 10 sec civic most likely they are not daily driving it, at least thats what i would have done...

  • @rhythmnsmoke Its an example. I'm not saying you can't drop a nice h22 twin snail in for more than 5 grand, but I'm just letting people know some of the dumbsh*t they do. Stop taking comments so literal.

  • Comment removed

  • @s0nicstr1fe You made the post. If that's not what you meant, perhaps just type what you mean so it leaves no room for interpretations.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Don't worry, he knows nothing about tC's other than the fact he actually wasted his time going to Autotrader to attempt to learn something.

  • @ShocKProductions LOL...

  • @ShocKProductions Ok, I'm just debating what I see for myself. Maybe YOUR area has a different market value. But arguing that is moot. I didn't come here trying to offend you. I've liked the tC and the fact its a re-badged Corrola that replaced the Celica line up. I even look past its torque steer due to FWD setup. It makes me no less knowledgeable. So please, don't feel offended in this.

  • @s0nicstr1fe Not a re-badged Corolla. It shares nothing of the Corolla and has nothing in common with a Corolla. Just clearing that up. Chassis comes from the AWD Toyota Avensis. Runs a 2az-fe engine, has the same brake setup as the Celica GTS. Nothing Corolla-ish is carried over to the tC.

  • @s0nicstr1fe Did you look that up before you commented? lol

Anyway, I am not offended at all, no worries. I build my car the way I like it, there will always be people who disagree.

  • tc keepin up with a g is beast. props to both cars

  • Seriously scions are 20gs and ur g35 are 40+ i can invest another 5 in mine and run circles around ur little overpriced piece of shit !!

again gonza1152 nice vids man i got a s/c too running on mmw header intake and catback exhaust... i have upgraded injectors pushing close to 280whp at 9psi... i love racing overpriced assholes hahah

  • @BosnaTc Shit talker. yea the G35 is more but look at what you get, put the two together and see what everyone is gonna choose, not a damn Scion lol., and in that gonza1152 vids the G35 was coming back on that pos Scion.

  • @nissanaltimaka24de Didn't look like the G35 was coming back to me. Anyhow, that's just a S/C tC on that. A properly turboed tC (key word here is "properly") would destroy a G35. I should know, I destroyed my own 350z with my turbo tC.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Your smoking crack, the G35 WAS coming back on that TC, matter fact it did! Sad aint it, a stock 4 door sedan outran a turbo coupe. I have been side by side with bolt on TC's in my 97 Altima with 300k on the clock. Yea your specific TC might outrun your Z, im pretty sure it has more HP, but take it to a road track and see which car will win, the real drivers Car baby, the Z

  • @nissanaltimaka24de Nobody is talking about the G35 in THIS video dude, pay attention. They were talking about the G35 on gonza's page. This tC in this vid has nothing more than a small turbo and pipes leading straight to the throttle body. To be only boosting 6 psi is a sneeze of a boost threshold to a tC. That tC is making no more than 220whp, if that.

  • @rhythmnsmoke haha, i love that video.. the minute he uploaded it he sent me an email to check it out. guy was all happy or something, but it was damn good.

  • @unresolved777 LOL....

  • @nissanaltimaka24de He's not boosting any more for 1 of 2 reasons. 1) he's scared, or 2) he doesn't have all the gear needed to go past 6 psi, which is an intercooler, Fuel injectors and engine management (the typical shit that comes in a FULL turbo system). His is not a full turbo setup. Go look at my Youtube page dude. See the picture in the back ground....Enough said. Track my car Every Month and AutoX nearly every 2 weeks. I'm not a noob dude.

  • respect to u gonza1152 ur scion is nice... dont argue with these idiots man its not worth it they think that they are better than us... they better be their cars cost twice as much as ours lol and yeah ur little g35 no way it can beat an m3....so stop talking out of ur ass man!!!

  • no shit a m3 will beat a g35 but you are a fucking idiot. g35 is meant to compete with bmw's 335i not their m3. think before you speak dumbass

  • god scions are pathetic.... turbo'd and still slow as shit.

  • Look up real drivers as in rythmsmoke and i have a s/c tc raping my own g35

  • lol put this POS against my 07 G and see how fast I pull. I rape stock EVOs, STi's M3s.

  • @dghboybigboy yet no vids

  • NOT... everyone of those will out launch you and you wouldn't be able to play catch up.

  • Lmao you keep thinking you rape evos and sti"s

  • ok the 07 g is sluggish compared to the M3 and the sti will give it a run for its money so quit talkin shit it isnt that fast of a car i know cuz i own one

  • Really? What does your g have? evo's sti's i beleive but an m3? plus look up my vid of my tc vs my g There not a pos man i have both and the tc is pretty sweet car

  • g35 needs a new tint job, that shit is ghetto.

  • Who the F turbo's a scion?!?! HAHA

  • The 4 time Unlimited class Time Attack champ, and the 2 time Modified class Time Attack champ. Along with myself and a shit ton more boosted tC's. Read through the comments, you would realize this tC has nothing but a turbo and pipes connected to the throttle body and nothing else.

  • a lot of people...

  • Private road......... My ass. Lol. I really hate tCs

  • wow at first i was wondering why the hell the Scion TC was keeping up with a G35, I have a G35x auto and they blow away Scion TCs but i didnt realize it was turbo'd. That crap did a pretty good job next to the G35, sweet!

  • tc isnt the fastest car but I really like them for some reason. is this a dezod kit?

  • No, if it was the Dezod kit, it would be pushing more and about 4 car lengths in front of this G35.

  • @rhythmnsmoke

Oh ok, what kit is this?

    ZPI, greddy?

  • More than likely its either a ZPI Stage 0, or a knock-off of a ZPI Stage 0. It's not a ZPI stage 1, cause a stage 1 would have eaten a G35 the same way a Dezod kit would. I should know, I use to have a ZPI Stage 1 and you can click on my name and see my Youtube vids of cars I have beaten with a Stage 1 that are 3 times faster than this G35.

  • @rhythmnsmoke

Yeah I agree. I have a 2007 si but I was going to buy a tC so I did a lot of homework on the turbo kits for tC.

Saw a sparring video you had..pretty sweet. tkd?

I do mma my self. grappling and muay thai but mostly muay thai

  • Thanks man. That school was a TKD school. I myself follow closer to Jeet Kune Do. I plan on working some more of my ground game soon at this small MMA section attached to my gym.

  • That money for the Turbo on the TC coulda been put into SO many other cars and produced WAY better results.

  • There is no money put into that tC dude. He probably spent no more than $3k bucks, cause it's not a full turbo kit. It's just pipes and a turbo, no fuel injection upgrade, no intercooler, no management....If it was a full kit, it would be a waste of gas to race a G35 without some form of boost or spray.

  • @rhythmnsmoke he did put money into it didnt you see the rims and tail lights? lol

  • @lawaiia808 LOL true that...

  • @rhythmnsmoke then the TC owner is an idiot for not safely modding his car right, his car will run like a shit by the time it hits 40,000 miles...

  • @offroadfury6 The kit's power has nothing to do with it's reliability. There are a lot of tC owners with that type of setup, because it's a cheap way to get an extra little kick out of the car. They spend no more than 3G's on that type of setup. And there are some that have driven like that for a number of years. It's just not one that makes a lot of power because it runs minimal boost (6 or less PSI).

  • @rhythmnsmoke oh I see....well good for them for producing a car that is already safe to moddify like that...wish more cars were like that

  • @offroadfury6 Yeah people think that because it has 160hp stock at the crank that it's not capable of holding any significant amount of power. Car will run 6lbs of boost on the factory ECU (using a small turbo like a 16G). And on a full kit will support 350-400whp before needing internals to the motor.

  • @rhythmnsmoke 3k would be a whole lot more of a bang if you put it into my wrx when it was stock. Hell, 1k got me ap, stg2 map, uppipe, and tbe.

  • @deddjay Your trying to compare cost of bolt ons onto an already turbo car to that of a N/A car adding turbo to it. WRX cost more from the factory brand new than a tC brand new. We expect more out of the WRX to begin with. What does your WRX run in the 1/4 mile just curious?

  • @rhythmnsmoke I haven't taken mine to the track yet, but if I estimate off other similar '04s, I'd say mid-low13s. MAYBE a high 12 if there's someone who -really- knows what they're doing with awd launch.

  • @rhythmnsmoke Anytime you start bring up money its a moot point....More money you spend the faster your gonna go.....But if you are talking budget racer then ur not going to beat civic hatchbacks...I spent $5000 on one (total car was only $600 not running) and it looked like shit but did 12.7's on street tires and handled like a rail car.

  • @scuds03 That's why I'm not the one who brings up money. It's about preference on what you pick and choose to go fast in. Money is just a means to get to that point of being quick/fast.

  • And The G WINS !!! :)

  • g35 ftw

  • Thats why you just buy a nice car like the G35 and stay away from rice mobiles like the crappy tc...another turbo tc loses to a stock car...and a family sedan for that matter

  • the tc tops out at 125 so no shit the g will catch up but 1/4 mile tc will destroy so basically tc won cuz who races up to 125 miles?

  • Uh, how will a scion destroy a G35 in the 1/4, when it couldn't even pull from a roll, which is the best type of race for a turbo fwd car? From a dig this would have looked much worse for the scion due to traction issues. The only chance this little toyota has is from a roll!

  • This isn't really representative of what a turbo tC can do when it's turboed correctly (meaning, having all it's pieces and not just some of them like the one in this vid).

  • what's with the retard in the G35. Anyway my turbo RSX on only about 6.5psi beats modded 350Z's

  • Shut up about your slow RSX already.

  • Lol you almost lost to a Corolla.

  • @dahgutone

Dont write stupid comments and think you feel kool cuz u called a tc a corolla, stop hatin

  • actually its a camry motor not a corolla.

  • and its not a Camry either.. its just just a tC... a simple car.... reasons?

    1. its uses a revised Camry 2AZ engine that is built and tuned differently in Japan.

    2. modified Celica GTS suspension and brakes to accomidate more weight.

    3. Lexus materials on the inside.

    and last but not least

    4. uses a 2nd gen Toyota Avensis chassis...

so now what is it? its own car is what it is. nothing from the Corolla is even used so idk why tat guy said "Corolla" and it uses some Camry engine mechanics.

  • Because people have nothing else better to do than act stupid over the internet.

  • calling a tc a corolla is like calling a mustang a escort

  • Comment removed

  • Yea and a 240sx has a truck motor.....manufactures use the same engine code across platforms all the time. Nothing new. On top of that, the 2az found in the tC is internally different and tuned differently than the 2az found in the Camry, Rav4, and the newest XRS Corolla.

  • sure about that? i thought the KA series was for the 240 and the hardbodies were Z series motors

  • The KA is a truck motor yes. Like a lot of other manufactures, they use the motor in different model cars/trucks. And what Z series motor are you referring to?
