Madeira has a very warm climate all over the year, but as you probably aldready know, there are a few high mountains in the island, such as Pico do Areeiro, Pico da Torre and Pico Ruivo where the temperature goes to zero degrees during the winter and the result is this, beautiful landscapes covered by the white snow. But you can have snow in the high pikes in a day, and in the same day if you came to Funchal, you will have very warm temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees. Amazing ! :)

i got back yesterday from madeira, it is a brilliant island the views are amazing over the atlantic and the people are so friendly, they couldnt do enough for you. the east and west are completely different contrasts. i would definitley go back again. obrigado to madeira for making my stay brilliant.

Well about home costs in Madeira, it depends on the place the house is located. And it depends on many factors too . The island has a warm weather and the temperature is usually 23º . The temperature in Funchal can rise in the summer to the 38 degrees ( sometimes a little bit more ) and in the winter it can get 15 degrees at minimum .But the weather in Funchal is warm ( 23º) almost all around the year.

It is honestly the most amazing place in the world if you are stuck for holiday plans you will NOT regret coming to Madeira. And if you are looking to retire abroad Madeira Is IDEAL as it is much cheaper than in the UK and alot more laid back many Thanks :)
