It would be better to put iron particulates into the sea to allow plankton to grow and suck up the excess green house gasses then to spray the world with chemicals in the air. Global warming is a hoax. Get a glass fill it with water. Put a few ice cubes into it so that the water level almost about to spill. Wait for the ice to melt. You will notice that the water level will have actually gone down. This is because solid Ice is less dense than water. Ice will occupy more space than water of the same quantity.

@back2thefutre Uhhh no. Most of the ice is underwater because of the upper mass portion being applied onto it. Ice has a lower density than water and it occupies more volume. Ever wonder why ice doesn't sink? Something that occupies more surface area will sink slower than something that occupies less surface area. A huge flat rock will sink slower than a rock of the same mass that occupies less surface area. Buoyancy is the word my friend.

@blackbird309 Wha? I think you are confused dude. None of that makes any sense. I double checked my physics book and it says the water level stays the same. I even calculated the equations it provided. I phoned my professor and he says it will stay the same and I also did some google searches and every page I found said the water level STAYS THE SAME. And guess what buttface, I just did this in my kitchen and THE WATER LEVEL STAYED THE SAME. Logic is the word my friend ;)
