Great video. I'm going to check out the past vids as well. Check out a debut novelist, Maryann McFadden who will have her first HC book published in June by Hyperion. Maryanne started selling her self-published books at our shop and WHAM....two book direct to HC deal. THis is why locally owned shops are so important.

Self published books are usually the only way that some authors can get their work out there. As an indie shop we welcome them and in many instances try to get them a signing with a bigger name author. The hope is always that they will break through in the same way that Maryann has.
