Paranormalcy- I loved it, but I must agree Resh has to be one of the most frustrating characters in the world. Literally, dragging readers through a love/hate relationship with him. First you think he's a random creeper and you hope he'll go away, then you fall in love with him, then you fall in hate with him, then you get confused when that love and hate hit eachother head on.

Really, every time he showed up I was like "Bleep it, Resh! Make up your crazy faerie mind already!"

i'm sad you didn't like the Mortal Instruments because i loved it im guessing you didn't like it because of what you find out about jace and clary? or i could be completely wrong but if you give the book another chance they just get more amazing especially city of glass :)

I agree with the Mortal Instruments series. I haven't picked City of Bones up since I put it down a few months back. I will have to check out Clockwork Angel, though!

I cannot wait to read Clockwork Angel! It sounds sooo good and I love the mortal instruments so I think I'll like this!

I think I'm going to get Paranormalcy from the library because I like the concept of it.

Awesome reviews Meaghan:) I don't know if i'll get Paranormalcy now, ill have to think about it. I didn't like City Of Bones and the main reasons were Clary and the whole Shadow hunter thing didn't really appeal to me. Do you think i shoud still give Clockwork Angel a try?

@Mrsbooklover hmmmmm the annoying heroine is a non factor because Tessa is awesome but the shadow hunter element is very similar to what it was in City of Bones. I thought it was really awesome and I would definitely recommend reading it but if you don't like the shadow hunters in city of bones you might not like them here either.

I wann read both of these. LOVE the cover for a clockwork angel. And a clockwork orange is always the first thing I think of when I hear the the title, its a really good book by the way- I definately recommend it.

I hear Clockwork Orange is REALLY complicated to read.

I really wantt o read Clockwork Angel now, but I'm not sure about Paranormalcy. :/

I really hope Nevermore doesn't turn out like Paranormalcy did for you. I have really high expectations for that book.

@MeaghanTheBookAddict Yeah, I'll most likely get it next Saturday. I can only go to the bookstore every two weeks so I need to figure out what other books to get. I'm also thinking of getting Sing Me To Sleep by Angela Morrison. Claudia recommended it and it looks really good. :)

Great reviews, Meaghan! I can't wait for Clockwork Angel! As for Paranormalcy, I'm picky with paranormal books in the first place, and Evie's voice-from the part that you read-seems immature and shallow; she seems like a Mary Sue, but that's just my opinion. :)

@MeaghanTheBookAddict Well, if you need to, go ahead! :D Her character just seems really unrealistic to me, even from a paranormal stand-point. I mean, even in paranormal books, the societies have some guidelines. A teenager who works for a containment agency? What?
