  • Growing up with atari coleco and intellivision, and having a large selection of games back then, I liked this game a lot. The graphics weren't to bad and it wasn't over challenging nor to simple. It was good times for a six year old in 86.

  • Dude you suck at this game. I mastered this game at 9 years old back in 1985/86. You suck ass pal!

  • Your research into the history of this game pretty much sucks.

  • @sglider

He doesn't know what he's talking about, but at least he admits it! That alone is far better than the Classic Game room moron, who gets the most views due to the company's deal with youtube. Nothing is more annoying than that idiot making ignorant and erroneous comments, all done with a sarcastic and condescending atittude!

  • You're confusing this game with Subroc-3D (which was also ported to the ColecoVision). It was the arcade version of Subroc, not Buck Rogers, that featured simulated 3D graphics via the periscope eyepiece.

  • wtf when I hear this with my headset there no music coming out

  • The colecovision is pretty rare these days, on ebay it sells for about £175, in uk currency more from retrogame sites, i had one when it came out, and would have liked to get another, but the price is to high.

  • The 1985 Commodore 64 version of this game must have been more like the arcade version because I remember it looking a lot better than this and the graphics being much more early 3d and immpressive.

  • The Adam computer did have the data pack version of the game as its pack-in.

  • I had an ADAM and it rocked. THis game was so much more payable on ADAM.

  • god i hate it when ppl bitch about x minutes of their life they won't get back. seriously. come on. it could be a lot f-in worse than playing an old video game.

  • True that...you could be getting turned inside out by the Ebola virus, or regretting going to pick up groceries in Baghdad cause you just got your limbs blown off by a suicide bomber. =-p

We have it good bitches ;)

  • This game is going to give me a seizure. You should sell it on eBay.

  • yeah they werent really ready for a game like this

  • Thanks for posting this very good review. I have never played the Collecovision version.

On most other systems the game was released as one game, but for some reason Sega decided to split it into two separate games for the MSX.

With regards to playability. The MSX version is very playable and has nice graphics too.
