If I'm not mistaken this particular concert was performed the day after Bono's father passed away (you can hear the sadness in his voice and his bandmates glancing over see if he's ok). The majority of the audience didn't know of this at the time. Makes this moment even more incredible.
hey this was the second of two concerts. I was at the first. The second one was an impromptu one coz the first was so much in demand and they had time to prepare to film it. The first was about a week after Bob's funeral and they had his face on screen, was very touching! Hope this helps.
Got to see this group LIVE in Pittsburg- Three Rivers Stadium. What Memories this tune has! The audience was so harmonious with this song that it went on for 10 minutes!!! Bono was at his best that night! So to with the Edge. No one has that guys style for a riff...

Bono asks everyone to single the chorus, and the entire stage sings it! now that's something impressive.
@urameshiiiii You're absolutely right! But a little fact here, there was no ' I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' at this show, but yes, 360° tour, the audience sings it all alone,amazing, I saw it too in Brussels, definitely one of the many highlights in their show! I love U2!
Well, I listen to bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Danzig, Misfits, Pantera, Megadeth and so on, but I like U2 as well. They have made epic songs, and some of them have strong political messages too. I never "fall asleep" when listening to U2.

But with Disco there is only dancing and having fun and getting facked up on drugs and alcohol and getting laid. Compare U2 to real music with inspirational lyrics and compare Lady Gaga to Disco. @Heiryz,,, dont be sad!!!! now days songs can last for maybe 6 months, than people get tired of it,,,, u2s songs have last for decades!!!!!! u2 in 2010 can still get stadiums sold out, ,, ;lady gaga gets arenas sold out... sorry lady gaga you loose,,,,,,,,,, arenas get max of 30k peps, stadiums can get between 80k-140k!!!!!!! n yea u2 has dine that too many times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Heiryz ah but how long has this song been around? Will Lady Gaga's songs still have the same appeal and tingle factor that this still has so many years after it's release? I doubt it somehow. Let the sheep go and follow the crowd, I know what I like.

@Heiryz You shouldn't see it like that, U2 is all time! Gaga and stuff is just a hype, in a couple of years, this will be over! But U2 is forever, and it's not because of I'm a fan, it's just a fact, the people of 2400 'll still know U2, it's like we still know Mozart! U2 fills hearts with love, U2's music changes people, Gaga won't! It's just young girls who are in love, and let them be young, but soon or late they'll realise this is real music!

@Heiryz That's right. And the reason for that is because of Disco (back in the 70s.) Before Disco, people listened to music and the words and were inspired. Thought-provoking songs were good. But with Disco there is only dancing and having fun and getting facked up on drugs and alcohol and getting laid. Compare U2 to real music with inspirational lyrics and compare Lady Gaga to Disco. By the way Lady Gaga was found in a basement all rocked out on coke. Do you want your kids following herexample?

@superficialrhetoric Well I read it again and I remember why I wrote that. I had a girlfriend with kids. Her daughter liked Lady Gaga and at that age she was vulnerable to influence. Geez well on the other hand I wouldn't go out and do coke if my ...idol did it. I guess that was just the paranoid parent in me coming out.
