  • Nice trick.

  • Where did you learn this great effect?

  • @edblaster2000

It's been around a long time it's called

    Henry Christ's 4 Ace Trick.

  • Nice stuff. You are more that kind of dude that has not a million of sleights, but just some that you mastered very well, aren't you?

  • What's the deck called?

  • @BlackMagicCurse Those are Streamlines. They only cost $1.00 at Wal-mart.

  • @kammagic you use streamlines? i hate plastic.

  • @PermittoNex it's a good idea not to limit yourself to any one particular kind of deck. The last thing you want to do when someone asks you to do a trick is have to run and get your favorite deck. You should be able to use any deck handed to you.

  • I also do this trick and I love it.

    Great video 5 star! =D

  • I think you have a point about four ace routines may seem premeditated, but since the four aces have a certain status I usually start with with revealing the four aces and then go on to this trick. Since the aces have, like I said, a status it gives a better effect than just revealing four random cards.

But your version is great and I would use it if i could, but i can't. That's because I'm from sweden and the cards structured the same way as the spelling in your version goes.

  • @11TimeOut11

I am not using any technique or spelling that is different then the original Henry Christ's 4 Ace trick. You should have no problem recreating this effect.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • Jonathan? Will you take me on the Ellen show with you? I know you can get on! She LOVES card tricks LOL!!!

  • I would love to see you perform something different like a spongeball routine or perhaps card on ceiling. Or a sandwhich routine. Any card trick in your hands looks truly magic. What other magic do you perform besides cards and coins?

  • hey kam i think you are right, but keep in mind thats a big classic of magic, i´d love to see you doing a classic of magic like ¨color changing deck¨ or ¨vanishing aces¨ all the great magician have performed the classics, and i´d love to see the way you perform one of those classics. bill malone does a pretty good performance of the color changing deck, please as a fellow magician i ask for these favor to get better ideas.

    best regards

  • @redmoves Check my channel I have many of my versions of classics. Chicago opener, twisting the aces, coins across, chop cup, ambitious card, wild card and many more.

  • I think you have to have a reason as to why you are using the four aces rather than any other cards. So it is not suspicious. I don't do Christ's routine, I always perform Maxi Twist and have a twist ending at where the four aces find the selection. My audiences always have great reactions and never seem suspicious. When Ammar performed this trick he told the spectators about Henry Christ and how he is famous in magic and that this was his favorite trick. Nice idea though! You're a great thinker

  • Maxi Twist is a great effect and as magicians it is fun for us to perform. But it is an effect with specific cards and very structured choreography. Its a great effect to showcase your finesse and style at handling cards. But as far as strength goes an impromptu effect can often be more memorable to your audience. Remember to do what your audience likes not what you like.

  • I think I have used World Poker Tour cards, Tally Ho, Jerry's Nuggets and Novelty Peg Leg Pete's cards in my videos. I try to use many different kinds when practicing. Bee, Studs, Aristocrats, Squeezer angel backs, Ramblers and plastic cards as well. If you get to used to just using one kind of deck you can be really thrown off if someone hands you something different. My favorite of course are red Bike 808's (standard)

  • flawless

  • I actually agree with you on the fact that most 4 ace tricks do seem predetermined. I do fancy this one trick where the audience deals and shuffles and all top 4 cards are the Aces. It's in their hand's, not mine. I liked the ending very much. Is there a way we'd get to see you perform at a restaurant?

  • If you live in or visit Northern Illinois you can see me at Walter Payton's Roundhouse in Aurora. Its had a name change recently to Americas Historic Roundhouse.

  • love the handling especially the ending!!!!!!

  • I like that one.. I might just have to look it up in the books and learn it.. lol

  • Very nicely done

  • amazing trick! makes me want to learn it!

  • i mean how many cards do you count for the 4 of clubs?

  • @mrtrickzstar Learn Henry Christ's Fabulous Four Ace Routine to find out. You won't get exposure on this channel. I don't believe in it. If you are learning magic from the exposure videos on YouTube then you are learning bad magic.

  • Great routine Kamm.

  • wow thats really cool, i gota use this.

  • is it 12 or 14 cards at 1:05?

  • @mrtrickzstar I don't know.

  • don't you have to know what the third selection is?

  • @mrtrickzstar Thank you. That proves my point about the effect being stronger with unknown selections.

  • tutorial please.

  • @ImASkidmarkOnSociety I don't expose magic!

Those who can, perform. Those who can't, expose.

Just learn Henry Christ's Four Ace Routine. Available in many books.

  • very well said

  • Jon where do you buy your streamlines for $1

Oh right you say in your description you dont like to use four aces because of it looking prepared or what ever. Have you ever seen Juan Tamariz idea of this trick? "los asaltantes" Search it and maybe it will change your idea from using the aces.

  • Streamlines are $1 at Wal-mart. It doesn't matter how you use the 4 aces. It's the fact that you are using 4 specific cards that arouses suspicion. It would be the same as if you said I'm going to do a trick with the 2H, 4C, JD and the 9S. Why those specific cards? You must have something preplanned. When you involve unknown selections you have something that feels more impromptu and much more amazing.

  • @kammagic Ok If you are using the aces as Tamariz does involving the plan of a history i think thats good.

  • I'm not saying it's not good. I'm saying it is stronger to use unknown selections. I'm not guessing. I know this from my audiences reactions.

  • Really really good trick. I liked it a lot. Congrats Kam!!!

  • What playing cards are those?

  • this trick is a killer 4aces routine

  • nice

  • Is that origenal?

  • What part are you talking about?

  • sorry I spelt original wrong. I'm not talking about the individual effects, but the trick as a whole. Also I enjoyed watching it very much thank you.

  • It contains originality but the trick itself is based on Henry Christ's four ace routine which I don't think anyone really knows for sure. He kinda took it to his grave.

  • Oh yes!, I was waiting for one more trick from you and it's unbelievable.

    Good job.

    Víctor.

  • Wow...that's cool!

  • that was so fantastic that i could cry

  • do you like the streamlines?
