Check out Ford's VERY FIRST NASCAR win's (Jimmy Florian-1950-a humble Cleveland, Ohio guy ) 85 year old brother (my dad) going 150 mph in a Petty car 5/7/11 at Darlington. Ironically, his brother beat Lee Petty that hot day for the milestone win for Ford. Enjoy and please share You Tube Video
they created the engine where even if the turbo is at full blast you would still get good mileage..i work at ford and NONE of you guys know what ur talking about
@bell4fan what do u tow, how much weight? whats your real world mpg trailer and no trailer? and are you happy with it? thnks, just want to know from random people the real world usability of this truck
@cb7pwn I have a 45 hp tractor, that weighs about 5,000 lbs. My brother in law pulled in 6,000 lbs trailer with it to see if he liked it better than his hemi. Both times it got about 8 mpg, towing 65-70 mph. But it handles the weight well. Running empty, doing mixed city/highway, I'll get 16-17mpg. Straight interstate at 70-75 mph it will push 20mpg. I love the truck, recommend it to anyone.
@bell4fan Not sure I believe that. My colleague has a brand new one with the max trailer two package, so he has the 3.73 rear axle ratio, which shouldn't be as good for gas mileage. Pulling a 9000-lb camper he's getting 14.7mpg, and the engine only has 800 miles on it.
yeah now what was the gas mileage while doing this? when a turbo is running full boost like it probably was in the test, the engine usually gets about 2 mpg
@chamblizi Not to be an ass, but buying foreign, especially Toyota, Honda, Nissan, helps us. All three of them have HUGE plants here in the states, employing over 1000+ each.
@One3teen Yes, those forign companies build plants here and create jobs, but you should think, when honda makes a sale, does the money stay in the united states? No, it goes right to honda in japan, doesn't help our country's economy much at all, unlike an american car company, that keeps the money they make, and stabalizes our economy through a free market (you should know what that means).
this is a tough test. im sold

SOOO much lies, love how they use V8 sounds when the truck passes by and stuff. Pff they know no one likes a V6 sound in their pickup.
