  • Understanding the concept of Threadrolling would help a person in making a judgement on whether it is or isn't safe. If one would notice that the part is supported in the dies and outside the the dies. The hand on the part is just to stabilize the part. In the Threadrolling process the part has to rotate to form the threads. Hand feeding a part is often done to produce the parts. Safety is the #1 priority everytime a set-up is done.

  • The people who have commented on this don't know what they're talking about. I've worked at this shop 8 years. Nobody ever gets hurt.

  • Money first. Safety does not import.

    Don´t worry!

If you loose then, your employer contract another one.

  • @TheMasterDinho Are you with the "occupy" movement?

  • I have seen many accident and this is one of them that would happen sooner or later.......I can see the guy hand jerk whenits start to contact. and when pushing the rod forward his finger came very close to the turning drum ggooossssh.

  • @davidhfk Did yer mom have an "accident"?

  • that really doesnt apear to be at all.

  • Is safety not a primary concern at this company? No gloves and your hand could get swallowed by the machine and then it will pull your ass in!

  • @xecutionerpro I agree with the lack of safety, but if you had gloves it'll be MUCH worst.
