  • I think a tarp is more useful, the fact is that this is an impulse buy and the mystery is now gone. I may have seen it on a shelf and and thought "hey, why not" but now that I saw it, it seems nearly useless. Just buy a cheap tarp and some 550 cord.

  • first of all if there is a national disaster, your going to need a camoflauge tent and or black flat non gloss tent. Cause you def dont want to be seen when everyone is rioting in the streets and shit hits the fan. another thing get an actual tube tent, they are cylinder shaped and are only $30.00 and pop up in few seconds. or if your really a cheap ass you can just get oversized garbage bags. but seriously this one is the worst idea out there.

  • You should show this in actual use outdoors with wind and rain, very frustrating if not nearly impossible to set up under the conditions where it would most be needed. I found a couple small pieces of duct-tape in the bag allows you to attach it to the cord at the top corners to keep it from sliding and bunching on the line. You can also use a couple of small pieces of tape to close or partly close one end at the top to keep rain and wind out.

  • @repsfo It would be more like a kite then a tent!

  • Its designed to keep you out of the sun ?

I was thinking the rain !

  • 1.2LBS?? and works like a tree? i think I will pass

    people stop spending money!!!!

  • Pretty Cool I think in a Survival situation Its Gold ! thats all there is to it thats what it is made for just to keep you from the elements and thats what it will do . This is a must for a survival kit .

  • what is the weight?

  • @oodamnagain 1.2 lbs

  • have some mosquito netting and it looks like it will provide some protection from the elements....this is not for long term camp...more for need to get out of weather tent

  • That tent looks pretty flimsy. I was thinking it might be a good replacement for the tarp in my bug out bag. Looks like I will keep the tarp. Thanks for posting this video. You just saved me some money.

  • giant trash bag

  • @Christopher711, I've used this particular tent and it will help shelter from wind and rain..but it really is best for sun shade.

  • sounds like brokeback mountain!

  • Jeff , will the tube tent hold up to beings used for a week on a concrete surface?

Will it do an adequate job of providing shelter from wind and rain? Thank you for the video.
