  • no wishmaker

    fake video

  • i wonder how they are planning to take care of the reactor and how they are planing stop all that shit

  • FUCK YOU GREENPEACE.

  • Good thing there's going to be a new, bigger sarcophagus.

  • @hipp6y Maybe, if they dont spend so much time talking about it that the old one rusts away

  • @Baronstone I've heard the process of building is supposed to start next year.

  • what the hell is that ? 0:30 ??

  • @vkProductionsSH I think it's a frog or something....

  • @vkProductionsSH highly radioactive molten sand from when they tried to cool the reactor

  • "Warning!Hazardous radiation levels detected" :D

  • okay i have a question. all the water thats around chernobyl that evaporates into the clouds will move into other areas, is this a serious issue? is the radiated water that comes from chernobyl move into other areas by clouds?

  • @bboychi1 yes, since the disaster, all Europe has been receiving a little quantity of radiactivity every day, and it will continue for 20 years i guess but i'm not sure

  • Why do they still work on it?

  • @Kaabiipowaah too keep the place intact, there is still a lot of radiation in there. That is why they built the shell around the reactor to keep more radiation from leaking out. There will probably still be radiation here in 50 years.

  • 0:31 the radioactivity must be extremely high, the CCD sensor in the camera is picking quite a lot of it (the white dots)

  • Nuclear energy is still the way to go and I'd live by a reactor in a minute. Fuck Greenpeace and all the sissy ass envirolosers that would drive a Prius!

  • @arthurkitchen say that to those who lived in pripyat or fukushima you silly cunt

  • ...

    :/

  • wtf i was watching cod videos....how the hell did i get here???

  • @xXscghXx I can see how you could get here from CoD (Russians...) -- I got here from Epic Meal Time.

  • @chaosaxis epic meal time is beast

  • Where is the wish granter ??? :D

  • @ZareIceman @ 0:28, but he seems to sleep

  • merci pour cette vidéo

  • If they don't quiet down the bloodsuckers will get them.

  • i do believe it is still molten

  • did you like ummm get cancer?

  • So is the core still burning somewhere in there? Or did it completely explode in 1986?

  • @MyYakBiteBak they prevented a explosion i think, when a reactor blows up you can see its true power, it burns for years upon years, and then the radiation it leaves behind lasts around 1000 years

  • Wow, I never see that badly damaged reactor in Unit 4. I dont know about that when i was younger in 1986 untill recenty I did watched the news about Japan nuclear plant hit by earthquake and tumrusi and i did look up on Chernobyl and learned about it. It was very interesting to see what happened in 1986.

  • How are there people inside it not worried about being killed by all the radiation????

  • i go to here in to weeks

  • @GordonFrohman20 What's stalker? can you explain to me i'm a little lost

  • wow and to think that 50,000 people used to live there, now its a ghost town

  • @mattw2312 bringing up cod4 references eh -_-

  • Horreur d'un démon réveillé que l'on croyait maîtriser totalement!

Peu de leçon tirées malheureusement pour l'humanité.

  • 0:43 maybe there is an anomaly behind the wall?

  • weren't they going to build a new sarcophagus? is that ever going to happen...?

  • 4 minutes in the sarcophagus and you will die for sure :/ stay there for 30 seconds and you probably will die on cancer! but someone has to go there to check how bad the situation is!

  • get out of here stalker

  • @Hellcoam Hey did ya'll no all that water there pouring in there will turn that glass back into a bomb and blow up the russains

  • @Hellcoam LOL! Very nice!!!

  • there he is, the wishgranter, at 0:28

  • I went to that Green Peace website when I saw this and 5 years later Fukushima blows up. Fuck you Green Peace for not better preparing me and everyone else to prevent more reactor meltdowns like you promised you would at your dumb website.

  • @DooderMcAltair

Greenpeace does whatever is good for greenpeaces wallet, not whats good for the planet.

  • @DooderMcAltair Dude it was early this year learn ur history dumbass.

  • @MrTurnthatfrownaroun I was making a joke about the message in the video's description, dumbass :).

  • What the holy hell is Stalker? And why would you mention Modern Warfare 3 in here? This is Chernobyl. Not a video game. Silly teenagers.

  • @larewwedxhhh19 Stalker is a PC game, 3 games actually, but I am aware most people dont even know what a graphic card is.

  • @porkyminch01 I actually do. I find it funny as I was just recently shopping online for one.

  • @larewwedxhhh19 but how can it be? stalker is kind of popular because it was a PC exclusive saga.. until now

  • @Soulrider2012 @Soulrider2012 I repeat: ony 237 people died. Do you know many people dies in russia because of cancer per year? They all dieing because of that disaster??? Greenpeace is political organisation, not ecological. Read wikipedia about Chernobyl.

I was born in USSR in 1981. I was small, but I still remember.

  • @Soulrider2012 I repeat: ony 237 people died. Do you know many people dies in russia because of cancer per year? They all dieing because of that disaster??? Greenpeace is political organisation, not ecological. Read this

I was born in USSR in 1981. I was small, but I remember.

  • @Malmstreams well people die also because of BRUTAL killing of some MADKID

  • @HotChickenQueen I'm sorry: of course it's very horrible! But not 500 000 like everybody thinks!

  • No entiendo Como ai personas aun entrando si por lo que se Aun Sigue con Altos GRados de Radiacion :S?

  • omg the guys inside that thing wow.....that is what you call a crap job

  • would have been HILARIOUS if that guy's last name was replaced with Makarov. lol just switch the "Chup" to "Maka". ya think he'd be pissed?

  • The worst bit is that now this and Fukoshima have both overheated now everyone is against nuclear power , even though those reactors were from the 50's. It is almost impossible to do this with a modern NPP and it is better than burning fossil fuels.

  • @ThatKidWithTheVideos what about the nuclear waste?

  • @scrambledpenis Granted , it still has that while say wind power doesn't , but it is a compromise between power efficiency and ecofriendliness and renewability.

  • @scrambledpenis exactly its just gonna get dumped the worlds nuclear waste is sometimes dumped near chernobyl you can read up about it. governments pay and everyone else turns a blind eye, to their dumping.

  • @anchannel100 One of the missions was in Prypiet... The smoke stack was visible and you had to avoid radiation areas.

  • not a job i would want.

  • what the hell does this have to do with cod

  • everytime i do a fart its like chernobyl fs, my ex wife divorced me cos of it..

  • @TheFlyingScotsman01 Not funny. faggot.

  • @AppleFoxHana

And who the fuck`s talking to you sperm breath? Speak when spoken to. dick.

  • @TheFlyingScotsman01 Sperm breath? really? Gonna need a band-aid for that boo boo :(

  • @AppleFoxHana

band aid? no mate just stop swallowing and start spitting, bad breath comes from the pit of ur stomach so no sperm swallowing= no sperm breath, problem solved! Bitch! [ hehe ]

  • @TheFlyingScotsman01 Damn you just keep burning me with your 'increadibly amazing' come backs! ouch! May I have some ice for that burn?

  • @AppleFoxHana

no but you can have a thesaurus and learn how to spell incredibily correctly you dumb fuck!

  • @TheFlyingScotsman01Gramma's ass cheeks!

  • I don't see the Wish Granter in there...

  • Jesus christ, Stop fucking quoting any fucking videogame!

For those who dont know, this happend in "REAL LIFE"

  • @DETROITxXGHOSTXx get out of here Stalker

  • At the end of the day, humanity ought to watch videos (such as this) when debating or considering nuclear energy, rather newer and greener alternatives...The costs far out-weigh the benifits.

  • @Mulder0007 Nuclear energy has caused less deaths that conventional means such as coal has and the environmental impact is much much lower. The benefits far outweigh the costs.

  • this is some scary stuff

  • Just seeign the water at 0:52 makes me think of Fallout .. :U

  • don´t fix it this will show future generations and its a monument of the self destruction of the man

  • You Ar Nuts ?!

  • Typical greenpeece, standing there with their measure istruments and whineing instead of helping the workers out.

  • @MAJORASS68 Give me a english to russian dictionary and i'll learn russian.

  • This scares me.

  • What was the radiation in Sievert?

  • The radiation should be clear by 2065

  • @stickfighter254 is that sarcasm?

  • @susupoosa Erm, no. I'm just saying.

  • ok so if the place is still radioactive then why aren't they wearing enough protection?

  • 0:32 - 3400 r/h (34SV/h)

  • man, thanks for sharing this, glad you got a shot of the inside of the reactor #4 after 20 years since the video was taken, was wondering what it looks like on the inside

  • Why bring up CoD?

  • @Proudnoob8210 because they are loosers and base life on computer games

  • If you think about this the is really really sad not just because of all the decay and deformations but all the billions and billions of what ever kind of currancy they use to fix the reactors i dont think we should use nuclear power untill we have a good understanding of how it works and how to use it PROPERLY so this never EVER happens

  • @987micim This won't ever happen again and shouldn't have happened in the first place. No one but the Russians use graphite (Extremely Flammable) in their designs. Gen 3 reactors are very safe.

  • @this1sYiutube even this type of reactor (RBMK-1000) works safe if the operators have the knowledge and don`t push over any limit.

The reason for graphite moderation is simple: you can change fuel rods under working conditions for extracting and processing Pu for nuclear weapons

  • @this1sYiutube ...it just happened in Japan. What do you mean it wont ever happen again?

  • @MangledMaggie sort of, japan had a slight meltdown Chernobyl when up in explosion. They were able to prevent much of the damage the Fukushima Daiichi plant, Chernobyl well you see what they had to do in images. Chernobyl was disaster, Japan was a near disaster but a lesson to us all that no matter how far we have gotten it can happen again. Nuclear is relitivly safe clean energy source, when handled responsibly without a single person cutting corners. Cutting corners sadly is human nature.

  • @RoMayDrako yea but over all more radiation has leaked out from the japan disaster over time, Chernobly was all at once. Food in Seattle has tested positive for radiation all the way from japan. I don't think theyll ever be another explosion.....if we can help it anyways. But there will def be more nuclear disasters.

  • @987micim we do have a very good understanding of how it works, do you really think there would be so many nuclear power plants in the world if the scientists didn't know what they were doing. what happened here was a mistake that should have never happened and people have learned from it

  • @XKEYBLADEX10

    yes, actually.

  • I felt like a pseudo giant was gonna come out of no where.

  • @CowPharts -- that's what she said.

  • 50,000 people used to live here now it's a ghost town. LOL.

  • STOP QUOTING MW3, QUOTE STALKER.

  • damit now I have to find MW3isawasome's comment... fuck you guys...

  • @bigkazuma ctrl-f FTW

  • @bigkazuma mw 3 and all the call of dutys are extrusiadingly stupid and gay

  • @dowww21 i agree

  • @bigkazuma View all comments, CRTL + F

  • Ongoing project? No way... It's like a race to contain that shit? So it's growing? Really freaky....

  • They must have massive radioactive balls to do that!!

  • Great now I have to find MW3isawesome's comments

  • the problem with the power plant was that it was built with haste to save time and money. they did not have proper building materials.

  • playing with atoms ............... = DEATH !

  • Hope they're wearing their lead boxers!!

  • Now i have to take 5 mins to find that MW3isawesome's comment -_-

  • A question, will the lands of Chernobyl be ever cured from radiation or is it to remain be radioactive for a very very long time? :/

  • @themangix357 sadly there is no cure for the radiation and even after is has dissipated there will after effects that will last for ever such as soil infertility and contaminated water supplies.

if you visit the welsh highlands with a giger counter you can even see minor radiation from the blast.

its not just Chernobyl it has effected the entire world

  • @themangix357 The remaining energy from the core that was being used has to wear out. They can last for quite some time, and the explosion will leave the rection for many, many years to come.

  • They organize travels nowadays for the public where you can go to a rock-throwing distance from the sarcophagus, and roam the general area at will. I understand they are quite popular. No special suits or preparations will be needed.

  • CoD4 much?

  • Any man going near this place is crazy.

  • Are they insane ? go to most irradiated place on earth ? even wearing a suit is not guarantee your safety.

  • What's really weird to me, that a place that looks abandoned and safe, is like invisable death.

  • hope you're not planning for kids..

  • no lo que es eso en el interior cuanta radioactividad debe tener

  • Hey, GP: Prevent the next Chernobyl by doing real science and real engineering in an entrepreneurial republic, rather than seat of the pants wishful thinking in a socialist paradise. Oh, and avoid using workers as disposable slaves of the state. That helps, too.

Or, your plan: dismantle modern civilization.

  • @pidgeoncircus i didnt say it was safe if it fucks up now did i.... i said its safe if it is "maintained and looked after" i personaly prefere to be as far away from a nuclear plant as i can just incase of the extremely unlikely chance one goes up in smoke, but thats just me... now quit your bitching...

  • lol, greenpeace x3

true that when 'shit hits the fan' in a nuclear plant there's a whole shitstorm about to go down, but if well maintained and looked after, nuclear power is a safe and clean souce of energy.

  • @extondude Tudo é seguro até o dia em que acontece um desastre. O ser humano ainda não sabe lidar com a energia nuclear.

  • @marcoamartins2 English please

  • @extondude Everything is safe until the day there is a tragedy. The human being is not yet prepared to deal with nuclear energy.

  • @marcoamartins2 that is true, but the only way to learn is go forth and do it...

  • @extondude Nuclear proponents repeatedly claim that radiation exposure in the vicinity of coal-fired power plants is 100 times greater than for nuclear power plants of equivalent size. This story has been disproved since 1977. The UN Commission UNSCEAR has determined that in consideration of the entire fuel cycle, the global collective dose of population per megawatt of electrical energy from nuclear power is 375 times higher than for electricity from coal. 1977 report, page 27

  • @Tekknorg Pop quiz: do i care?

  • @extondude Yep.

  • @Tekknorg -hands you back your quiz paper- you got 0 out of 1...

  • @extondude You do care even more.

  • @Tekknorg Nope.avi

  • "We're living in a state of constant catastrophe that is touching us more and more." Got any facts or evidence to back that up, greenpeace? No, you don't. Nuclear power is cleaner than fossil fuels.

  • @MrJivePirate Yes, but it is more dangerous to human health because of the risks of radiation. The main reactor fuels, Uranium 235 and Graphite (Forgot the isotope) are VERY VERY VERY dangerous if humans are exposed. If a disaster on even a small scale occurred, there could be major consequences.

  • the beeping you hear in the video is the tell tale sign that the reactor is still producing lethal amounts.even with the suits.

  • Comment removed

  • chernobyl-the story freaks me out what could have happned what if something lives their? what happned to the children born after the disaster its scary....

  • great what did MW3isawesome say in his comment?

  • @jasincl He quoted some shit from call of duty.

  • Comment removed

  • @jasincl he said "50 000 people used to live here, now its a ghost town"

  • @Byrnsey251 well if you trust that metal and concrete case so much let me tell you this within the next 10 years it has a probability of 70% of collapsing with a probability of 90% + in the next 20 years....

  • one day i want to go to Prypjat... why ?? to take photos. this place has a certain atmosphere to it i just have to capture one day... but before that i have to learn more about radiation... i dont wanna end up dead or with cancer just because i was too foolish

  • @tiagandremo dude are u a fuckin idiot it was in 1986 and even if i did go over to help which im planning to when i can afford it it wouldnt make fuck all diffrent because even if there is an earthquake everyone in europe is fucked so go learn shit before you comment.

  • @Byrnsey251 even TODAY people are working there with every day clothes, not just in the 80's! and just to let you know, the sarcophagus which they built there has a 70% probability of collapsing in the next 10 years, 90% + in the next 20, they have launched a project to make a new cover out of steel and concrete that will cover the whole power station, but thousands of tones of soil will have to be moved and tunnes built and rails so the cover can move into place...so i have learnt shit...

  • Lick it!

  • 0:44 there should be wish granter here :D [from stalker]

  • whoever goes in to Reactor 4 to get us video while effectively sacrificing themselves, so we can see this has a special place in heaven if you believe in the afterlife

  • what's this song called?

  • fack.. my brother going to Chernobyl 4 years ago. he Said everything is cursed.

  • Greenpeace suck!

  • that light in the reactor chamber is not a hole in the roof: it's the wishgranter :P

  • man i wish there could be some suit like uhh SEVA suit really existing and stalkers would be there and all the artifacts, anomalies, mutants, the rostok with bar there and all that kind of shit...thumbs up if you agree....

  • You guys see the baby with the messed up eye too, RIGHT???

  • @123Jus1 Si Indeed

  • @sodaworm As long as it isint just me

  • wow, this is really cool and odd on google maps

  • @CacoTacoNetwork Odd, I just dounloaded google earth and when the installer initialized... My videos unpaused...

  • @AdamX21198 Downloaded... damn spelling fail.. PS I got it to look at chernobyl

  • *about*

  • i hate these cod posts this a disaster from thousands of people suffered not some game so stop posting aboout a place just because its in a game.

  • 50,000 menschen lebten in dieser stadt jetzt ist es einer geisterstadt

  • Greenpeace is probably dead

  • Get off the goddamn COD quotes. Yes, we know this was in Call of Duty. We get it, now stop posting.

  • Did the people that built the reactor are in prison or something?or it was just a accident ?

  • @PatoWachaca Not sure, but Diatlov and the other chef who ordered this test got 10 years each, but they were realesed after five years due to mental problems.. But, If u look at the whole story its realy thouse who builded are the ones who should blame .. they build it very quick and poorly, didnt think about the safety at all,,
