@987micim This won't ever happen again and shouldn't have happened in the first place. No one but the Russians use graphite (Extremely Flammable) in their designs. Gen 3 reactors are very safe.

They were able to prevent much of the damage the Fukushima Daiichi plant, Chernobyl well you see what they had to do in images. Chernobyl was disaster, Japan was a near disaster but a lesson to us all that no matter how far we have gotten it can happen again. Nuclear is relitivly safe clean energy source, when handled responsibly without a single person cutting corners. Cutting corners sadly is human nature.
