those cymbals are definitely not necessary.. But this is much better than remix 1.. I only cringed a few times during this one. I say people should just leave it as is, especially if you're going to use Dylan's vocals. I think it would be hard to make it sound good adding new instruments with the old vocals. But I'm pretty sure I could never like a "remix" of this song as much as I love the original.
@jilley2219 regardless, the point is to remix the original... whether or not we like it in comparison with the original version is irrelevant... it was a contest... *new contest - reproduce the mona lisa to the best of your ability... knowing neither yours nor mine will compare to the original is irrelevant... i just hope my painting is good enough to persuade the judges to choose mine as the better interpretation over all other competitors...
this isn't half bad. :) And believe me I'm worse than Simon Cowell, but the drum beats are off in a few places. Keep at it, and practice practice practice.
