  • Seriously, the women in this video are saying that to legalize it keeps it exactly as it is and condones male demands and violence. IT DOES NOT! It gives the power to the sex worker to say "this is how we are going to do it now, you, Mr. Pimp, and Mr. Abuser John, can no longer hide me in the shadows to do what you want with me. My body, my rules." Why do you give those fuckwads so much power? Why transfer this into legality? Makes no sense.

  • is ludicrous: "We reserve the right to refuse service to anybody". When you decriminalize prostitution, you empower the providers to set standards, determine what they are offering for what price etc. You don't walk into a dry cleaners and expect them to make you a sandwich just because you put $10 on the counter, do you? Then why would you expect a sex worker to allow abuse, or do activities which are distasteful to her, just because you are paying? Empowering sex workers EMPOWERS women.

  • There is so much illogic in this video, it is striking. However, there is real experience in this video as well, so a fine balance must be used to dismantle it all. There are some real abusive situations women find themselves in, and keeping it illegal supports it being so. Where it gets illogical, is that if legalized (not decriminalized) one has the opportunity to create an entire package that allows for exit programs. To say that a man has the right to abuse a woman because he is paying...

  • That's a stretch...let the women decide, that is unless we get to do medical proceedures on your penis and scrotum at all of our discretion.

  • we also need to stop abortion & homosexual behaviour as they are all part of violence against women

  • support sharia law to stop sex trafficking

  • My college roommate whom i know since J.R. highschool PREFERS to pay her college intuition working as an Escort/Prostitute than working at Starbucks. Her logic ??? Starbucks won't pay her $200 for 10min of work. And no she isn't beaten, addicted to cocaine and no she isn't 11 yrs old. She is lovely human being studying physics here at UCLA who makes BANK MONEY for the god given body she has.

  • @Tehrani72: Hear-hear. My ex-girlfriends roommate in Holland works at the Red Light District in Amsterdam. When I spoke to her, she said she enjoyed the sex but the money much more. She wasn't abused as a child or suffered from low self-esteem as these feminists want society to think. She was a very happy person as I recall. When it comes down to it, these feminists echo from a different point the old male-chauvinist perception that women are inferior and incapable of any rational thought.

  • I know.. I know.. you Femi-Nazi are all upset she doesn’t fit into that 1% percentile of women that are forced into the business. But the fact is prostitutes from los angeles to the legalized brothels of Nevada to Europe to Japan there are 10 women WILLINGLY prostituting themselves over getting a job as a waitress for every 1 girl you feminazi dig up that is forced into it. Anyways thanks for the youtube propaganda video I’ll forward this to my roommate I think she will have a good laugh !

  • @Tehrani72: It's funny that these feminist moralists uphold Sweden as a good example. According to the Sex workers and Allies Network in Sweden (SANS), all the law did was drive prostitution underground and give more power to pimps. These feminists also ignore the fact that in countries where women are forced into prostitution are places where prostitution is a severe crime such as Albania, Kosovo, and Moldova; are all havens for sex slavery.

  • did'nt jesus pay for sex with mary magdalene?

  • It is wonderful there are people who are willing to stand up for the rights of prostitution survivors. I've read that 85% of all men in the USA hire a hooker at some time.

The needs of this huge percentage of men are considered to be much more important than the needs of the women who have no other way to make a living. I've met men who believe they are very progressive for insisting on their right to make use of women in this way. But they're not progressive. They're the worst oppressors.

  • we all end up paying for pussy in one way or another. its just a fact of life

  • One of the problems have been solved in that when a person chooses the sex trade men had top billing and now with the Passing of the Ledbetter Act, women will get top billing. When the guy has top billing he uses that against the other cast members but men go to see these things mostly and money is money. I would never tell someone to do this but some feel they have nothing else. The ones that work in clubs have hundreds of women trying to get the jobs in the wings as hookers elevating presure.
