  • song name? please please!!!! thank you

  • Нихуясибе

  • song ?

  • DAMN...... 50v caps at 10000uF THAT IS SOME POWERFUL SHIT! XD

  • i like that sub

  • that subwoofer is weak at its power they should use the tang band w8-1747A which is actually better can go 350 watts without burning the voice coil :)

  • hey alton, do you have the wiring schematics for this amp?

  • What sub dose the z-5500 use? its like the same but 10 inch

  • @SkechUpOnline they use a tang band wt-66f and they change the dust cap

  • what is song name??

    i like that sub :)

  • nice nice

  • Do any DIY Vendors Sell the W8-670Q?

  • what song!

  • klein aber fein 5/5 punkte

  • is this driver modified or custom built for logitech?

because the W8-670Q is rated at 70w rms and 140 peak and it wouldn't be able to handle the power of the amp

  • logitech uses the W8-670Q on logitech speakers.

it's not custom build, and it can handle only 140w max,but no one amplifier have 100% efficiency to give excaclty the rated wattage, and if you connect the sub on a 1000w amplifier,it will be fine,as far as you don't turn the volume up.

  • @truebassB So your not putting 1000W into it then! I could put a 100000000W amplifier if it existed on a 0.25W driver an it would be fine as long as I didn't turned the volume up!

  • @geowal91 What the fuck, plug it into the goddamn AC them, and remember: FUCK LOGITECH

  • @truebassB , for all dummies out there the name of the driver is w8-670C with 100 W RMS and 200 Peak !

  • @al3x440 It can even handle 300w for a dozen of seconds before it gets serious overheated, the problem is that it can only work safely with 70w continuous without exceeding its Xmax at the Frequencies it can produce and work for short whiles at 140w.

Even with a coil that can handle 1000w,after that thing put its feet to over 150w continuous, would completely go like.... PRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

  • @truebassB, yes, but you are talking about the w8-670q, not w8-670c which is used in the z-2300 z-560, z-680 and z-2200, you can notice that it gets 188 W RMS from the z-560 and 680 amp, thats because its 200 W Max (peak) !

  • @al3x440 The 8" is the 670q,there isn't really a 670c,it handles the power because it gets 188 THD Certified Logitech's Marketing Department Watts, but even if it would nothing's going to happen, except overheating after a shorter while than by getting 140w and exceeding of its Xmax, btw it overheats on the z-680 for sure,i never tested on the others.

  • @truebassB, do some research, there IS a 670c....

  • @al3x440 Where did you find that info? In the matter of fact i did a research and i found a topic on HardForum pretty basically posted everywhere which made me fell off the chair cause i was laughing hard with Logitech's Fidelity Goal but that's another story.

The OP Claims that Logitech's using a driver called 670C with 100w Continuos and bigger vent hole on the back, well even so 100w to 200w if 3db useless difference,70w to 100w is 1.5db or less, which makes us doing useless discussions.

  • @truebassB, the 670c is a custom more powerful logitech version of the 670q

  • @al3x440 Oh and by the way i read that according to Tangband the z-2300 is NOT using Tangband driver for the Subwoofer, and the drivers on the sats are Chinese, not Taiwanese like Tangband,so they are NOT Tangbands.

  • @truebassB, tang band claimed to use the w8-670c in the z-2200, 2300, 560 and 680, enough said

  • @al3x440 Yeah, but the tb ends up having no clue about what's the crapdrivers used in Z-Cinema,z-2300 and z-5500.

  • @truebassB, I wouldnt call them crap, and they are all custom made, and the z-5500 driver is a WT-644F (custom made ofc)

  • @al3x440 Neither do i,but i will call Logitech's audio designs crap.

  • 70w is the nominal power of this woofer, it's not RMS power

  • nominal power and rms are the same

google it if you don't believe

  • @Kinciol92 no... the woofer is rated at 70W RMS, 140W Peak.

  • this subwoofer is from the logitech z-2300 or not ;)

  • no the W8-750C is the woofer for the logitech

  • nop,see the surround rubber

  • small tbs suck but big ones are quite nice.

  • nice!

    5/5

  • Tangband makes Excelent Quality Drivers.

  • You've made that amp yourself? Wow,...Nice

  • tang band is the beast of small speakers

  • Tang makes some nice products..

  • How Many wrms Have this Subwoofer??? Is This 6.5"?

  • 120wrms and 8"

  • So its TangBand that makes the logitech drivers ay? I hear the Sat drivers in the z5500 are only rated to 25wrms, ive read this in a few forums as i dont want to void the wrrnty on my set by opening them up and checking myself.

  • heres a fire....

  • what does taangbang mean??? the cone is very fat?

  • no its the brand

  • wow. Ur a fucking retard. ITS THE NAME THAT MAKES THE SUB. Thats a big noob question

  • Your the FUCKING retard! That person was just trying to find out some information and this isn't the first time I have seen you insult someone, last time you said I knew nothing about speakers but clearly you don't know about speakers nor common sense!

  • uh, I do know about speakers. And u just wasted 10 minutes of ur life writing that

  • Yeah, I know, you do know about speakers. I just felt sorry and embarresed for that guy that posted the comment. You were a little harsh, but I guess I was to. Besides none of my comments take 10 minutes, mabye MAX though.

  • hey, dont sweat. I was just a little tired. it aint ur fault.

  • sorry about my last comment, i was a little grumpy

  • a little grumpy? your attitude stinks, get the fuck outta here!

  • yes. Read the comments. You are 100% correcct. Lol. XD

  • is that the z 2300?

  • yee

  • no, its a tang band subwoofer. Although, logitech uses them

  • its the same woofer as the z2300

  • this one is from the early version of the Z-560. the Logitech name was put on the driver when it was used in the later version of the Z-560, the Z-680, Z-2200 and Z-2300.

  • Nice, do you plan to put this in a custom box ?

  • excellent

  • good subwoofer!!!! nice

  • cool
