dude, I need some help... I have the SE Satio and I have downloaded alot of games on it and some apps. And I can't find them? I'm sure I have downloaded them, and reinstalled them alot of times, but where are they? I can't find them....

i so love the design of sony ericsson phones, the only flaw of its design is the bulky headset slot(u cant even put it in ur pockt with the headset connected) :( why dont they change it to 3.5mm?

May I suggest you to improve your touch usage of phone by using nails of your fingers, cos I know it is better and I am very much happy with this touch as I can use it very nicely lol.....

@davomrmac Well, my friend told me that Symbian smartphones got lower sensitivity than other touchscreen OS. But I never use another OS in my whole life. That's why I want to buy Satio or Nokia X6, not anything else... =)

Know any more differences between Satio and other S60 V5 devices like Nokia 5800 and X6 than the camera res?

with the software updates installed the phone is a lot less laggy and more responsive, i have no trouble at all with the touchscreen.

battery wise i get max 2 days of use, although the phone spends at least 2 hours a day playing music as i use it in my car, along with normal calls/texting.

the main thing that does my head in is the predictive text, i used the word WOT once in a text and now it comes up before YOU everytime, with the only way to remove it being resetting the t9.

still uses stylus and resistive screen which is cheap and obselete.

uses symbian OS which is an obselete OS, even Nokia chose not to use it on their N900.

camera features such as auto rotate, smile detection etc are all present in other mobile phones as well.

Last but not last you gave a good review, very honest but only mentioned "pros" of the phone. you didnt mention any cons of it apart from it's size and weight.

I'm not saying its a bad phone but it's in no way worth £430.

apart from the 12mp camera this phone has nothing else to offer. And Mega pixel has nothing to do with photo quality, it only lets you print off photos in extremly large sizes which you wont do anyway because if you were to print photos of such size you would have a D-SLR camera and use that not a phone.

no music controls from the head phone so how can this be a multimedia phone of any type.

You get 3 to 4 days of battery life? That sounds great, but I heard that lot of people are having trouble getting just 1 day from it.

Well, I got this in light to medium use. Sort of what I would call normal. Checking emails, checking a couple of web pages, an hour of calls, some texts etc.

I´m not a heavy user myself, so 3-4 days with medium usage sounds great, since it only has a 1000 mAh battery.

@knightrrider maybe they turned Satios bluetooth and wifi on.. and maybe take pics like 12 hours a day.. believe me Sony Ericsson's products have a reputation of long battery life and very high quality =D

The battery life isn't very long at all. You might get at (if your lucky) a day and a half. And I don't use my Satio that much because I just keep it in my pocket throughout the day.

Great review! I loded hearing your impressions on the Satio, it looks like a great phone!

However, I am currently on a waiting list to receive a Nokia X6 review unit so that should be good.

Hopefully you will be able to obtain a review unit too as I would love to hear how the X6 compares to the iPhone, Satio and it's other smartphone competitiors.

I know how disappointing it can be when a product doesn't live up to expectations right out of the box! We are listening. A new version of the firmware was released Dec. 1st for generic variant. Sony Ericsson is workiing to release new firmware for branded variants as soon as possible.
