nukm4 is clearly a dumb ignorant person who dosen´t know shit about cue sports, snooker is the whole deal, accuracy,positional play, long potting ability and more..Any snooker player is able to pot 9 shity balls in a kids table(pool table), thats why for instances Mark Selby won the 2006 world English pool championship like it was nothing, most americans would say English Pool not in a American table. Dumb fucks the table has smaller holes, its still a kids game in my opinion

Seriously guys, snooker players are not better than pool players. When a snooker player plays pool, he acts like he's playing snooker and therefore loses 9 times out of 10. A pool player has to adapt to playing not just 9-ball, he must be able to play 8-ball, one-pocket and, nowadays, even bank pool. Snooker players just have to play snooker. When playing pool, snooker players tend to seem very limited compared to their pool playing counterparts.

@jackeees Pool is just pool, whatever ball you shoot can go in any of the 6 pockets on the table, if you can play straight pool, you can play 8-ball or 9-ball quite well I think. However one pocket and 3 cushion billiards are totally different style of game and skills need to play them. You know in 8-ball and 9-ball, the skills you used to play both games are pretty much the same cause I play both games myself and if I can beat you in 8-ball, I problably beat you in 9-ball as well.

I previously stated that former world 9-ball champion Daryl Peach stated that he personally saw Efren Reyes defeated both O'Sullivan and Jimmy White in snooker and he beat them with a pool cue while running centuries. If former world champ and ex-professional snooker player Daryl Peach says it's true, then I believe him. Daryl peach doesn't count for anything. It wasn't with a pro ref or out in public and to be frank, I don't think efren would stand a chance against o sullivan, especially not as of 2005 as he is even better than he was.

You seem to underestimate the abilities of Efren Reyes. and you since when was 9ballpool not a legitimate site and Daryl Peach a liar. Hell, Alex Pagulyan beat former number 4 Kirk Stevens in the Canadian snooker championships a few years back and even made a couple of century breaks. So if Alex Pagulayan can do that, then what makes you think Efren Reyes couldn't do the same. I'm not saying they can compete in the snooker league, but they can beat them in a race to 9 or so.

Well now he's too old, but in his prime, I think he could compete. The man is a natural at cue sports and especially when there is huge amounts of money on the line. In his prime, I think he would have beat a top 16 snooker in a race to 16, consistently, no, but he could beat any of them in a race to 9. But the bottom line is that a pool player can beat a snooker player at snooker Alex Pagulayan has done it and so has Efren Reyes.

if you weren't so narrow-minded, you would understand that Efren Reyes is one of the greatest all around cueist to have ever played. The man is top notch in 3 carom, Russian billiards, straight pool, rotation, 9 ball, 8 ball, snooker and one pocket. He has a natural intuition to cue sports in general. I don't see a reason for Daryl Peach to lie and the uk website is a legitimate site for the uk 9 ball tour.

@uchihay2g Agree 100% - not only is Reyes perhaps the greatest all-around cueist of the 20th century, before his eye operation (and quite simply, when he was younger and fitter, as e.g. during the eighties and nineties, when he wasn't exactly a kid anymore either), he could have competed at any cue sport. But of course he loves pool, the improvisational aspects in particular, at which no Snooker player could possibly surpass him - not before they play carom and pool for a few decades, like him.

Yes but still 2 play the shots that jimmy did in the video,especially the second plant is very difficult,but on the whole i agree with you play snooker and u will be amazing at pool but i find that if u do that then it messes up you snooker game.Jimmy was great though he really shouldnt of snorted so much cocaine n gone on the booze,felt sorry 4 him all those times he lost in the world championship :( go jimmy!
