on my galactic adventures i click on the cd drive when its in as it has the galactic adventures icon but nothing will happen... i can't get the installer up. i have already got it installed but i borrowed my friends cd.... now this cd won't work and i can't uninstall the first galactic adventures o.o :(

paitence unless its a reall problem after the load report it to maxis or EA if they do not respond for a LONG time post it back and if they dont awnser just keep reporting it they will eventually respond

i got it to install but when i play spore it doesnt show the game and im getting really pissed off right now T.T

Mine installed fine but when I go to play it it says, "Please insert SPORE galactic adventures DVD" and it's inserted already!

I suppose I should've figured I was taking a gamble when I bought GA after I've had such a problem with the Spore Main game.

i think you'd be better off buying it online and using the free ea downloader because htey had never asked me to put in a disk. and one last thing, you need the original spore game ( the one where you start out as a cell and work your way up to a space man. ) which costs exactly 60 $. ( i had to pay that much )

I've forgotten how i installed it but go to the spore website and search the forums for something similar to your error as the solution might not be very obvious. they certainly helped me.

oh, you could try going into safe mode (by pressing F8 before windows begins to start) then going into the Administrator account and installing it then.
