When I made this, the majority of fans said themselves they hated the series due to the last book, so this was a response to that. Right now I seriously don't care about the books, or about Stephanie Meyer, this video was made a whole YEAR ago. I don't know why all of a sudden people are voicing their opinions now. I really don't think Twilight fans hate the series because of the last book. I've read a summary of it, and I could totally see why they hate the last book. They have every right to hate it. There's always a way to end a series right; Harry Potter did that. Sure there were people that didn't like it, but the VAST majority thought it was a perfect ending to a perfect series. And I don't think they hate it just because of how it ended.

I agree with RullyisJRM. I read A LOT of amazing literature, and adult fiction as well as teen fiction, and the Twilight series sucked. I took them time to read them all even before they got popular, and I still found it very poorly made as everything was Godplayed and obvious to the events that were about to happen.

So next time, Lails08, try reading true materials like Stephen King, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz etc... the list could go on before saying Stephenie Meyer is good. She simply isn't.

All in all, SM is not as bad as her brother, but still. She's a hypocrite who doesn't understand literature (like the fact that R&J and The Princess Bride are satires). She sounded like some 45 year old woman after having a baby. It seemed ridiculous. Especially when when she was meeting with that greasy guy to get passports for Renesme and Jacob. It just did not sound/feel like the usual Bella.  Edward barely played a role in the book, he was always in the back seat. You got a MUCH better perspective into Jacobs mind/thought as well as the packs. That was probably the only great part in the book, Jacobs chapters. To me, the characters changed.

As far as I can tell, she's still as whiny as unlikeable as ever throughout all four books. She has no personal revelations or transformations. The only change is that her arrogance and contempt for the world become more blatant as time goes by.

I think that's a big part of why people criticize Meyer. Her protagonist is utterly unlikeable. When fans start thinking of the books critically and recognize this, they become rather bitter about it.

She did what she wanted to do and when she first wrote Twilight she knew that it would end this way. I love her soo much more because I really think that it ended the way she always knew it would and she didn't let the pressure from all of her fans keep her from making that happy.
