Vancouver is the best. One of the few cities of the world that has managed to keep some green in it. What is better is that you can be in the wilderness so fast. BC has so many beautiful places. Wide open spaces, and vast parkland areas of pristine wilderness. It is hard to believe that anywhere can be like this until you see it for yourself. Come visit us and share in our nature's blessed wealth. All are welcome here.

I've lived all over the world, but have yet to find any place on earth where nature and human beings live side by side in such harmony.

In most cities, concrete and steel seem to overwhelm nature and keep it at bay, while in the countryside, wilderness is abound. In BC, and Vancouver especially, there is just this perfect blend of both.

I love waking up in the morning, with the sun, sand, surf and snow all within minutes of my home.

You got that right! I'm from Norway, and I can't stand Oslo.. It's an ugly city and too many homeless people and druggies.. Even the main shopping street in Oslo is full of druggies lying in the streets half dead with needles in their arms, a lot of them die of overdose. Anyways, would love to visit BC once. Canada seems like an amazing country, and BC is already my favorite province, it's just so beautiful!

Let just pretend that Vancouver doesn't have a homeless people problem, and the crimerate is one of the highest in N. America. Of course, if you look the other way, then you don't see the problem. Maybe it's not as beautiful as we think it it, just ask the poor souls amongst us, who have fallen between the cracks.

Perhaps it does have a drug problem and as a result a homeless problem. It is still one of the best cities to live in, in the world.  I can't wait to go there again. It is an awesome city :)

Yes, there are so many beautiful places on this planet, but after travelling the world, I realize now how much of an exception BC really is. This is a truly wonderful and amazing place we have, and we have to cherish it and be its stewards as best we can. Saying BC is no better than anywhere else is a politically correct thing to say, but is ultimately incorrect. Nowhere else is better.
