God's name in latin begins with an I. thats the whole joke in the movie, but here we see indy stepping on a J and not falling through the roof! (2.43) did anyone else notice that?
2:12 - so a random stranger is walking in front of this Nazi's face on the other side of the window... and he just stands there. If all the Nazis were this bright, Last Crusade would've been a much shorter movie... and Raiders, for that matter.
Also wasn't there a VGA version of this one? Maybe my mind is failing me, but I swore there was one.
This is EGA, actually. From what I recall, VGA is 256-colors, EGA is 16, and CGA is 4 (and it'd either be cyan/magenta/white/black, or green/yellow/red/black).
There is a good filter on youtube for urls, try it on vetusware, or try on google..
If you play you have to enter a save path under options/paths/Save path in the scummvm. Else you would not be able to save a game. Not very difficult. I think it is no problem.
I have the fate of atlantis game and when I look at this I see that some of the things in the game such as the actions and the fight sequences are very similar is just that this one uses EGA graphics and Fate of the Atlantis uses VGA but they are both awesome games just involve alot of thinking.
I was always hoping, if they gonna do a new Indiana Jones movie, that they would be basing the upcoming Indy movie on the game: "The Fate of Atlantis" using the same title too of course. Well, this is not the case now unfortunately.
Anyway, I greatly enjoyed playing both Adventure games!
The movie is well in production and set to be released Summer 2008. It carries the title: "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."...you can find lots of pics and behind the scenes footages online. :)
These were the best games. Imagination, storyline and content defined them. Not movie-quality (high pixel) cutscenes or orchestral scores. EGA+MIDI+KEYBOARD ruled the day and was enough. You had to have an imagination to make the game fun. Now they turn your mind off with oppressive media content, vapid storylines and leave nothing to the imagination. I still play the best games, these ones.

Great game. I have many fond memories of this one. I still remember how good it felt throwing a punch at Hitler, despite leading to Indy's death :P

SCUMM works really well but I just don't understand why you can't play games in a full window.
Teisoujuurin 4 years ago
Of course you can, you just have to enable it in general settings or game settings
