Champloo in a Nutshell - Disappointing compared to Bebop, The story is drawn out and annoying - the subplots that lead up to the culmination of the story are repetitive and usually consist of Fuu getting kidnapped and rescued over and over again (that being said some of them were good)- The OST and the fights stood out as the best part of the show

Samurai Champloo was really original, it was a great series although i'm not sure how the manga ended because all the sites i went to it was already deleted

...What is a historical anime? I was thinking Grave of the Fireflies would be number one and then they show FMA and I thought I was misunderstanding the term. Sure it takes place in the ~1940s but that's all.

ichigo's father is a formor captain and possibly the reason ichigo has such powerful reatsu and thats about the only mystery about the story besides the ones that havent been reveiled in the manga

Wait wait wait. Historic? How? In the realm of anime, or in content? Because in content it isn't historic at all. Historic anime would be anime with actual history elements, like Rurouni Kenshin or Peacemaker Kurogane or Rose of Versailles. FMA has politics, drama, and action, but no history.
