Bub and Bob just confuse the hell out of me. How did they become bubble dragons at the beginning of the story, and why is their cousin and his father a dragon too?

Are Bub and Bob born humans or bubble dragons?

@TheKirtar There is no saving and no passcodes. You have to clear all 100 levels in one go...which is a crock on a portable system.

The arcade version of the original Bubble Bobble is better than the NES one.

True, but Bubble Bobble's never really been about the story. At least it is different from past versions, where you're "JOURNEYING INTO THE CAVE OF MONSTERS!!!" just to save their girlfriends whom which we didn't know existed until we got to the end.

I agree full-hearteningly. The NES version was tops compared to all the other versions... but I'm still willing to give this version a chance (whenever I get the money anyhoo >_>).

this version is a bit diffrent. you use 3 dragons with 3 diffrent colours (green, blue, orange). Some monsters need to be hit with green others with blue etc.

They threw that concept away as soon as they decided to present Bub and Bob in their dragon form in the Puzzle Bobble/Bust-A-Move series, and that was 14 years ago.
