hey, how was the food on board? was it so so, good or great? i have heard bad stories about food poisoning. Did you guys ever get bored on the cruise? would you recommend it to someone under 30? :)

@doglin82 Food was great. Don't believe all you hear about bad food etc. And yes...I would recommend a cruise to someone under 30. I have clients who are in the early 20's and love cruises.

Wow!!!Going on this ship in 2 weeks,my youngest sis is getting married on the ship on the day we board.I cannot wait for it,your videos are fantastic,Royal Carribean really should have paid you guys.There are 30 of us going,all from Ireland,so anyone going the same time be sure to join us for a drink,you are guarenteed a good time.

question... we are going on this ship in a week ( i am very excited) but i was wondering if it is bumpy at all..

Bumpy as in rough seas bumpy? the ship is a LARGE ship. Any ship will feel the seas if the waves are coming across versus into and they are more than 8 ft high. Seas were anywhere from 10-11 ft during the first part of our cruise and you could feel movement quite well, but I would not be concerned with that. Take some precautions against seasickness and have a great cruise. I have some tips on my blog. :)

@oeshpdog2 thank you very much :) i have always been nervous before going on a cruise but my fear quickly passes.. i just get worried when i see all of the youtube videos that say "cruise ship sinks"... it just scares me :) any other suggestions?

Only suggestion is to have the time of your life. The Freedom is huge and has lots of neat spaces to check out so take time and enjoy the ship. Takes lots of pics and share them with me when you guys get back

I was wondering if Freedom of the Seas has changed anything. I was on the ship last summer and I do not recall a flowrider or an ice rink. Are all the Freedom ships the same?

All of the Freedom class ships in Royal Caribbean's fleet has both ice skating rinks and flowriders. Are you confusing Royal Caribbean's Freedom class with Carnival's Freedom?

Thanks for the comment. The ship was moving back and forth sloshing the water out of the pool. It was VERY windy and you could for sure feel it. :)

i am going to go on aug 23, from what i heard, thats the begining of hurrican season.

The weather will be very warm! Hurricane season does start at the beginning of August, but it is nothing to worry about. Your cruise ship captain will divert the ship from any incoming storm so go and have a great time.

It was windy the first 2 days and then it was gorgeous weather. It was in December.
