These guys sound more to me like Madina Lake (which is a great band), but they most certainly shouldn't be trying to label themselves as glam metal.

Sounds just like today's music to me. The great thing about 80s hard rock unlike thrash is that it didnt stick to one particular sound. It could be bluesy, classical, and even have some jazz in it like steve stevens hair metal band. Tesla, Blue Murder, Dokken, Skid Row, etc. all had their own sound and still kicked ass and belonged to the 80s hair band genre. If i dressed up in face paint and looked like I was in a death metal band then played pop wouldnt it confuse you?
