ive done this but in a lot of the big games like Super Mario Galaxy or Simpsons Game (basically games which are 2-3-4GB) it will freeze after sometimes a few minutes of Gameplay, or maybe after about 45mins of Gameplay! HELP!!!

The TV sucks. Always get that with filming tv from a video camera because the refresh rate on the tv and the frame rate on the video don't sync

You can get homebrew and a hdd on 4.0, but  you need to do it differently. We are working on a tutorial for it.

yes it is possible using wbfs.exe and wbfsgui or wbfsmanager to copy backup games from your pc to the external wii drive and play/load them on your wii using usb loader and vice versa

Something that is very fucked up with this shit is that when you plug ur usb device in ur wii and format it so the usb loader app can read your games, Your USB device will no longer be able to be read on your computer, youll have to format it again so it can be read on your computer !!! thsi acctually is very gay and ruined my day :(

When you format with wbfs it changes the file system of that device from nfts or fat to wbfs.

The usb device must use wbfs for it to be compatible with the wii.

You MUST use a program on your computer eg. wbfs.exe or wbfsmanager that can read wbfs so that the information can be written back to your computer.

As mentioned in the tutorial windows will ask you to format the device. BUT DON'T DO THAT!! Leave it as it is and read it using the programs mentioned above.

Take your time and fully READ the tutorial so that you understand 100% how it works.

This is no different from the original XBOX which also used a different file system and needed special programs to read information back to the computer.

hmmm dont have the ipod today but i got the same results with a normal harddrive,...BUt turns out itl work if you load the usb loader THEN..plug in the device..wait a couple of seconds then choose it...and it mounts it with no error...weird...

You sure can, but you'd need to download and install WBFS Manager (google it). Never download games which you don't already own - piracy is bad mmkay?

2. If I make 2 partitions on my external hard drive, will I be able to choose which one to format to WBFS instead of formatting my whole drive?

Yes thats the whole point of the partition. Sadly though you will have to erase any data currently on the drive to partition it so if needed back it up. As for backup from the wii part do you mean inserting a Game disc in and ripping it to an external USB device then yes you can using USB loader. You do not need any hard modding just homebrew and google!

Yes :-) Check on our website for Sorg's mod(USB Loader 1.1s) to USB iSO Loader 1.1(Waninkoko). New features:

1) shows list of 21 entries instead 6. 2) more adequate navigating by left and right keys. 3) Doesn't attempt to switch TV mode before load game (uses default TV mode instead). Original loader tries to switch TV mode according to game region which makes PAL games unplayable on TV not supporting PAL modes (NTSC-U/J Wii) and NTSC games on TV not supporting NTSC modes (PAL Wii).

You can just follow the same steps if your wii is softmodded.

It's the same deal as always with softmodding though. Nintendo updates will break it, so make sure you get modified updates.

it is possible to copy iso's to and from your computer from the external hard drive.. you can also copy iso's to the hdd from the wii.. :-)
