  • Hi there! can anyone help? one of my cardinals have swollen gills! It stays at the bottom, still feeds, no unusual movements but is breathing rapidly. I have a 90L(25G) tank, fluval 205 with biomax and amonia remover, 27celcius, choc gouramis, head & tail lights, oto's and plecos in there as well.

  • wow great looking siamese algae eater , most dont have such a bold black line .

reminds me of my oto cats i have in the ten gallon .

  • Hi there, that is a beautiful tank you have, would you mind posting your water parameters please? (Age, PH, Temp, GH, ETC)

    Thank you!

  • OMG i have 20 gallon tank with cardinals and siamese algae eaters too!

  • what is that there eating

    ?

  • @lamparellielias there blood worms dumbass.......

  • Jumbo neon tetras seem be a little crowded int hat tank.

  • hi do the cardinals do good when the kribensis spawn?

  • what is that meat?

  • @typhowowl just frozen bloodworms.

  • How many tetras do you have in that tank?

  • thats not an apisto agasizzi.thats krebensis cichlids(niger cichlids)

  • Hi there, ur tank looks really nice, do u think u can send me a list of ur plants please? Those r nice looking cardinals too, I just bought ten of them, saving up to buy more.

  • what are they eating?

  • Eww are those blood worms?

  • what kind of apisto agassizii is that?

  • That looks more like a Flying Fox than a Siamese Algae Eater...just sayin'...

  • Nice tank!

What are those bush like plants you have in the foreground?

Also would you be so kind to list all the plants you have?

I have a planted aquarium myself, it's just not as good as I would like it to look like lol. Actually I have two of them. Both are in my videos.

  • What are the black striped fish called? I just started a 55 gallon aquarium with cardinal tetras, and I want to kinda mimic your aquarium? Thanks

  • @vampire5003

    siamese algae eater...

  • @addochka That's what I thought, I got some black neons and cardinals for my tank.

  • @addochka they are actually called siamese flying foxes

  • @Dandaldaks Both are actually acceptable.

  • @Dandaldaks

WRONG the Siamese flying fox is a different fish. One that doesn't eat algae it's entire life, gets much larger and is territorial.

    he has Crossocheilus siamensis

your talking about this Epalzeorhynchus kalopterus

  • @vampire5003

what kind of light do tetras need?

  • @aaronlennon1000 usually not very bright, but if you have a planted tank you will have to have bright lighting.

  • How many gallons is that tank?

  • @vampire5003

  • wow, good job with the plants.

  • @deeisneat

    Thanx

  • hey in a 10 gallon tank since cardinal tetras are small and slim, how many can i get? i wanna a tank with just cardianl tetras so someone pls answer me!

  • @TheXavierjeff

2-4 fish per gallon, If you need more guidance I need to know more info about the setup of the tank

  • are those real plants?

  • @rmartinez8176

Yes, all the plants are real.

  • what are you feeding them?

  • @Homeless124

    Frozen blood worms

  • I want to see the whole tank, it looks great from here!

what fish have you got in it? Obviously cardinal tetras, but how many and what are the others??

  • i have the same size of tank with 1 betta, 11 white cloud mountain minnows, seventeen cardinal tetras, two neons and one very fast growing Tiger Plecostumus(hes moving into a 100gal tank in the winter.)

  • Nice Shoal of Cardi's!

  • whoa! i have cardinals, but not as big as those! hmm... maybe mine are still young.

  • from what ive heard to the good thing about tetras is they only grow 1 and half inch tops so in a 4ft you could have tons lol

there must be a particular way of changing the water when it comes to tropical fish because of the whole warm water thing. how could you regulate the clean water going in to the fish tank on a water change?

  • At the moment i have Regular goldfish in a 4ft tank

But one time in the future if i give away my goldfish or they die, id think of having tetra and such

Besides the water heater at 75 i believe?

what else would i have to buy ?

What i mean is i have 2 filters gravel etc all that would house goldfish.

Would i have to change the gravel to sand or something?

Is there any other considerations i should think about?

  • @kaleluk31 no, but you'll need to include a spot in your tank where they can hide (they dont like bright lights). I personally think cardinals are better than neons cuz they have more red on the bottom.

  • beautiful tank. enjoy it. I really love these small green bushy plants on the ground :).

  • sweet tank man ;)

  • amazing tank !!!

  • Thank you!

  • how many gallons is that ?

  • It's 20, but I will have a video of our 70gal one up soon.

  • I love your tank....the cardinals look amazing. How many do you have in there? I'm contemplating a one species tank - cardinals or neons....not sure yet. Will you check out my new set up, not sure if i need some more plants in there? Thanks

  • @addochka that tank is just like mine except mine only has 6 cardinal tetra and different decorations

  • @IanOrigami better known as its not nearly the same

  • @IanOrigami nobody cares dude

  • Very nice combination! Well, in my planted 55 gallon tank, I have:

    35 Neon Tetras

    18 Golwlight Tetras

    8 Lemon Tetras

    8 Red Eye Tetras

    4 Rainbow Sharks

    3 small Angel Fishes

    Couple of Mix Guppies

    4 medium Ranchu Goldfishes

    Very Peaceful and less demanding!!!

  • your tank looks great. the cardinals have nice coloring

  • hey dude one question is this a good community tank for a 10 gallon 6 neon tetra 1 flame dwarf gorumi 1 silver hachet 2 dalmation mollys 2 guppys 1 rubber lip plec 1sword tail or platy 3-5shrimps and like 5or6 plants?? plzz reply
  • That not a good mix. Hatchets need 6+ to thrive, mollies prefer harder water ideally brackish. Also neons, gouramis and hatchets ideally need a mature tank i.e. 6 months +

  • i think u just add many plant.(anubias barteri var nana is great and easy to maintenance and java fern... just tie them on rocks or woods, then u can arrange them anytime u like) and just add 1-2 type of fish, just add neon 15 neon tetra and 5 shrimp + 2 siamese algae eater or otocinclus, it will be a great aquarium... (simplicity is beautiful) ha3

  • maybe for a 20 gallon :)

  • that was 2 months ago i didnt go with that i got

    10 neon tetras

    3 cory cats

    3 black neon tetras

    1 rubber lip pleco

    2 ghost shrimp

    in a planted tank

    with 2 filters a 20 gallon and a 10 gallon filter

  • awesome! :)

  • yeah

  • This is probably late but the Gorumi will chase your neons down and kill them. The amount of fish you have listed is to many for a 10 gallon tank as the rule of thumb is one inch of fish per one gallon of water. Unless you use a stronger filter that is say for a 20 gallon tank and you do put those 6 plants in there then just maybe it would be alright. One point to note, The Molly and Guppys are live bearer fish meaning they will have babies so you will need more room.

  • yeah my tank is pretty much done i put 9 neon tetras

    3 black neons

    3 cory cats

1 rubber lip pleco(stays about 2 in and almsot no waste that i cant see)

    and alot of plants and

a 10 gallon filter and a 20 gallon filter but i probly add more neons tetras

  • very very nice :)

  • what are you feeding your cardinals?

  • looks like blood worms

  • Oh for real? Cause I thought that was a piece of watermelon

  • Are those all real plants?

  • wow, your cardinals have such beautiful colours.

  • sorry, that was'nt me X(, fuck nut twisted psicho ~X( ... ho enter'd my account.
