  • Hi Jonny there are so many questions on this circuit that need answering ,its great .Have you tried placing multiple arial wires together joined at the base to see if it picks up more than one signal to base and perhaps it may make LEDs brighter ! or putting in a pot where the resistor is for tuneing ? just a thought m8.

  • Hi stefb.I will try those suggestions, interesting ideas.I will let you know if anything interesting happens but i won't be able to experiment till later this week.Grrrrr.Jonny

  • does the driver primary coil hit the self resonant frequency of the standing L2 coil of the sec if so the power should be quite a bit this is a very simple circuit and could be quite interesting if frequency could be adjusted but that may not be nesseccary as it appears to already be coupled but a cap to the other coil and a large resistor may be the way to go for a signal return.

  • Hi geshbeddin.I am completly in the dark frequency wise regarding this circuit as i don't have a scope and no how to work one but different lengh ariels make a difference in output power along with the position of the ariel in relation to the tower and maybe i could get a radio and listen to the circuit Lidmotor style.A good friend is sending me a decent variable capasitor 0-500pf so i will try this as a way of tuning the circuit as you suggest. Many thanks for your question and suggestions.Jonny

  • LED s are great arent they !! wonder how many you could string together before it stopped working or would it keep working and up the mAs , very interesting stuff Jonny !

  • Hi stef. That is something i will look into.I will let you know what happens.I actually prefer lighting leds than tubes as they seem to be the perfect load for exciter circuits. Thanks for the suggestion:-)Jonny

  • Hi Jonny , have to go with Jack on this one , dose a longer arial decrease the mAs /increase light or do nothing ? great work wounce again ,well discribed as was your last vid :) regards stef

  • That's really cool jonny! You're a wizard of adaptation!

  • Thanks Kyle. What i find interesting about this particular circuit is there is the possability to feed multiple signals to the base via the ariel, maybe from other exciter circuits running nearby and that may throw up something interesting..Jonny.

  • Great video jonny! How about changing the length of the aerial, and its proximity to the othr coils? maybe even touching them? Energy is coming right out of the cosmic egg it seems. Watch out for ghosts lurking about.

  • Hi Jack.I have tried different lengh wires and the shorter the wire, the closer it needs to be too the tower and as you increase the wire lengh, the ariel can be moved further away. Our tv has been turning itself off and on recently so i may leave the lights on tonight lol.Jonny.

  • thanks Jonny! What is in the AV plug setup you use for detection? Best,

  • Hi bsibille The av plug detector is just two diodes facing in opposite directions and you twist the two ends at one side together and put an led across the other two ends observing polarity.I will send you a pm with a link to a diagram.Jonny

  • Awesome, simplest video yet, love it. Thank you.

  • Hi GuardianZeus21.What i have found from my various experiments is some times simplest is best so when i make a circuit and it works,i start pulling things out until you are left with the bare minimum components and it turns out that the simplest circuits seem to be more fun and often leave you with unanswered questions.Thanks.Jonny.

  • Thanks Jonny, quite interesting as always.

  • @crusiatusblack Hi.

I must admit, experimenting with all these different exciter circuits has been a blast for me as i had not even dreamed this kind of stuff was possible a year ago so i am just enjoying the ride and working alongside other like minded experimenters is amazing as you just don't know whats going to be discovered next. Thanks for watching.Jonny

  • thanks Jonny, i will definitely try it :D

  • Hi ciprianwiner If you already have a Slayer exciter,it can quicky be reconfigured to this circuit. Thanks for watching and please let me know how you get on.Jonny

  • Negative resistance frrom the wire?

  • Hi nannerin. I think it will take someone with a scope to figure this one out but i think this is working similar to a circuit i posted a while back called the Simple sec.I don't really know much about negative resistance but i am sure a scope would show what is happening.Cheers.Jonny
