  • real chirping?

  • Statues and walls are motionless.

  • Great shot of the once so imposing wall.

  • And the sounds of the birds (flight/freedom), in contrast to the "nature of" (history of) the wall. Very powerful, perhaps inintentional act of genious.

  • Correction -- UNintentional act of genius.

  • I wish to congratulate you in advance on your one year of standing (almost) since I won't be here for a week!

  • I liked the tv tower there, doing its regular stand too, and that you didn't move an inch, didn't make a statement. No statement was necessary, better left unsaid. Thanks!!!

  • awesome.!

  • the birds sound like spring but the colour looks like winter... ambiguous.

  • Very nice. I like it shot in black in white.

  • People passing by not paying much attention to THE WALL is both a good and bad thing.....

  • I love how the wall seperated the video in concrete concrete and lighty airy sky.

  • yeah, nice composition

  • i love how when the people pass you they look across to try and see what you're looking at...

all this is really missing is hasselhoff

  • Well true true but EVERY video on youtube, heck, this whole planet could be improved by Hasselhoff. Even Baywatch or Knight Rider!

  • hey! don't hassle the Hoff!

  • SITUK, I don't hassle the Hoff - I would never ever dare to commit such an atrocity. I pray daily infront of my David-Shrine.

  • hahaha! Maybe he's behind the wall.

  • Another grand stand! The Berlin Wall!? Amazing! Heard the birdies chirping in the background. Love to you.

  • Cool.

That's how I remember what the wall looked like when I was there in 1990. People were hacking away at it. They called them wallpeckers :)

    (maur spechten)

  • "Wallpeckers" Hahaha.

  • Ha ha well, it's a direct translation. :)

  • We don't have wallpeckers here in east Texas. Peckerheads, we've got. No wallpeckers though.

  • Ha I know. I new it was the 'pecker' bit of the word that did it. :)

So now you know what wallpeckers are. They're peckerheads with hamers and chisels.
