Of course you can play this song with a 6-string, and it is pretty easy. Just tune your 6th string ALL the way down to F#. The other strings are tuned down one and a half steps, resulting in F# F# B E. Wes also used to use a bass A string for the low F#, but your standard E string will sound close enough...

it is a guitar, but 4 string one, bass sounds completely different, you can buy it in almost every guitar shop online, and in almost every global guitar shop like Gibson in following countries: USA, UK, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain. Now I'm not sure where you from. However smaller guitar shops may have some.

i can't name any precisely, your best bet is to search from them yourself. i recommend you only take in mind those by known brands. if it's gonna be you 1st guitar i however than recommend 6 string, but choice is yours. maybe your friend can help you with finding one. however, have a great time my deutschlander freund.

I dont want to say anything bad about Mike, he's great! But seems to me he doesn't fit in, in terms of sound particurarly in this song
