The best place to buy new computers is ebay. You can find really good laptops new in box for such a good discount its unbelievable. I bought my laptop that is worth 700 dollars in store, bought it for 500 on ebay new.

I'm much more comfortable buying used Blu Ray discs than I ever was buying used DVDs because they actually are much more durable. I have bought 5 DVDs from a used video store and 3 of them had at least one section with damaged data that would skip. I've already purchased at least three times as many used Blu Ray discs without a single problem.

Or a stolen car or a car written off when it was totaled or water damaged. Water damaged cars are common in southern states and cost too much to repair due to damage to the electrics under the floor. Badly repaired cars can prove deadly in a crash. And if a car is stolen, the police usually confiscates it and you get NO compensation AT ALL.

Buying used games is a terrible thing to do; way worse than just pirating. Developers and publishers don't get ANY money from used game sales. The reason this is worse than pirating, is because most people who pirate games, wouldn't have bought/ been able to afford them anyway, so there's no lost sale, but at least people are playing and enjoying the game. People who buy used games obviously have no problem paying for games, which means a lost sale.

But some like me work for 7.50 hour has to pay for bills and food went to gamestop or amazon and found a great deal on game for 30$ less than new on new I'am the bad guy now because EA or any other did't get their money. But when I do use I do try to buy the dlc when possible

And if I spend it at a local store the money is staying in the local economy, and the only game store we have in the area is used.

Console Games definitely - I don't have the latest and greatest systems, but was able to get 3 used PS2 games and a Wii game for $26 online from Gamestop. The disks are all in great condition too. The games might not be "New" but they are "New to Me".

when you are buying a used car expect to pay at least 2-3 grand in all to have it be a good running vehicle. my current vehicle a 89 ford ranger i paid 300 dollars for it. then i had to add tires for 400 (it is redneck how the tires are more than the vehicle) then about 400 more for a slave cylinder. and i will redo hoses and belts soon. my truck in all will be around 1400 dollars. 1450 if you include the dixie horn. even though i have quite a few repairs i still paid less than most.

@talldude123 lol out of all of those (Not counting video games) the only thing that I have used is a printer. And I don't regret my purchase at all. It's a used all in one printer, scanner, copier, and fax machine. It has built in wifi. I've had it for the past 4 years and still nothing has happened to it.

@BronxMods Oh god, you've bought a custom built pc? should have built it yourself, and before you say its to hard, its not. Anyway you need, an amd hd 57XX or 58XX, all AMD 6 series hd 6770 and above, and ofc hd 7970. If you go down nvidia route, you have to get two and SLI them, personally i dont buy nvidida but most this gen cards 550TI and above will do it. Furthermore, its not a PCI card, its a PCI-E graphics card

redbox got mostly replaced by blockbu$ter that costs $3 to rent a bluray, I stoped renting totally from them, only netflix now. By the way, the best age to buy a car used is at 5 years old, at that point they have lost most of their value losses and beyond 5 years old they do not lose so much in price, but to buy new! wow, you want to lose 50% of your investment before you even pay it off, go right ahead LOL.
