I guess it was a parallel to WWF's Iron Sheik. I know Iranians aren't Arabs, but again, Westerners tend not to differentiate.

Yes it would have been great to see that however, that whole situation with Spanish Red turning good was a setup by Matilda The Hun. There was never no match of Spanish Red vs. Ninotchka.  They both teamed up in Season 1 in several matches but never in the history of GLOW was there ever a fight between those two evil broads. Great comment though! Thanks for posting!
