As a scotsman it irritates me to see Scottish style pipe band masquarading as Irish at things like the St Patricks day parades. This is not meant to be an insult it's just that it so false. I respect the Irish culture but the Irish Americans just seem to get it wrong. The bearskin hats (or busbys), the tartan kilts and the pipe bands are Scottish.

Bagpiping is an important part of Irish history and culture. Yes the ridiculous costumes should NOT be worn by Irish pipers, but really that is just a salute and proof of the contribution the Scots have made to it. it dosent annoy Spanish people that Salsa dancers around the world wear the traditional dress so why i dont know why people like you give such a fuck
