@monstersouthside11 Don't know what you will get with a 1527 but the 1521 peaked out around 55 on 6s.

@Donng75 I think it can. I've run a X642 and M445 on it as well. It heats up the batteries pretty fasr with the bigger props though.

@flyrc88 I never really checked it degree wise but would guesstimate around 30 degrees. CG is at 40% of the overall hull length.

Hey nice setup. I was reading your thread on rc groups. You and gebiena both have great setups. I was wondering if i could combine the Feiago motor with the turnigy 180amp esc?

I don't see why not. The 180 is a good esc and have a friend that is running the turnigy 120 on 6s with a Feigao 540XL. I don't recall the number designation but it's the 1490 kv motor

What kind of run times do you get with the batteries you stated you are using?

2 minutes of race type running will put the packs at about 125* F with X640 Octura. A 642 puts them at about 145* in the same time frame (not enough speed increase to justify cooking the packs either). Pack voltage is still above 11v per 3s pack. Most heat races are over in two minutes anyway. There's a couple of later vids on my page with more aggressive running.

I think the motor would handle the prop with no problem but don't know how the cat would react to that lifting prop since it's design is for use on a hydro.
