You guys are crazy. This movie was AWESOME!!!!! One of the best this year. The actors were great and the special effects were better than War of the Worlds (2005). The only thing that this movie didn't have is a media machine behind it to let the dumb masses know that it's o.k. to say that it's good.

I suspect this movie will be worse than a Micheal Bay failure.... great visuals but the Brothers Kraus previous work was Alien's vs Predator Requiem.... a piece of trash from start to finish.

Guys! These are the producers from AVP:R, which SUCKED!!!!!!! Either their attempt to make alien movies, oh wait a minute! Yep! Guess what? They ripped off the classics of Alien and Predator and make a stupid piece of garbage called AVP: Requiem. My guess is that they too have ripped off Independence Day and District 9 to make some kind of stupid hybrid like they did in AVP:R. We've been broadcasting radio for over 100 years. If we assume that those radio transmissions even had the strength to broadcast out far into space for extraterrestrials to detect, the signal would arrive at wherever the aliens are at least 100 years before the signal from NASA has arrived.
so if they come to earth because they hear the signal sent by NASA and this movie is set in the year
2010 then the extraterrestrials would have to be at less then one light year away from earth.
So the basic premise of this movie is that newsreaders rip off what Stephen hawking has said word for word. (which anyone can figure out anyway.) NASA sends out a signal, something out there then decides to land on earth, presumably after hearing the signal, after which they stuck to suck up all the humans.
So, how the fuck is NASA supposed to know what direction to send a message? Assuming they sent it out in all directions (just to make sure), why would NASA try to contact extraterrestrials?

Besides that I have experienced the Presence of God and felt His Holy Spirit through prayer.
I have seen God do things in my Life that were impossible. I even have God speak to me often.

Guys! These are the producers from AVP:R, which SUCKED!!!!!!! Either their attempt to make alien movies, oh wait a minute! Yep! Guess what? They ripped off the classics of Alien and Predator and make a stupid piece of garbage called AVP: Requiem. My guess is that they too have ripped off Independence Day and District 9 to make some kind of stupid hybrid like they did in AVP:R. Shoot me down if you want, but my hopes aren't high enough for these producers.

Even with the first radio transmissions, the signal quality would make whatever is on the transmission pretty much indecipherable but they could figure out that all this static noise is coming from one spot on only a few frequencies.
CLASSIC CASE OF DID NOT DO THE RESEARCH. CAN NOT GRASP SIMPLE PHYSICS OR EVEN BASIC LOGIC.

We've been broadcasting radio for over 100 years. If we assume that those radio transmissions even had the strength to broadcast out far into space for extraterrestrials to detect, the signal would arrive at wherever the aliens are at least 100 years before the signal from NASA has arrived.
so if they come to earth because they hear the signal sent by NASA and this movie is set in the year
2010 then the extraterrestrials would have to be at less then one light year away from earth.

So the basic premise of this movie is that newsreaders rip off what Stephen hawking has said word for word. (which anyone can figure out anyway.) NASA sends out a signal, something out there then decides to land on earth, presumably after hearing the signal, after which they stuck to suck up all the humans.
So, how the fuck is NASA supposed to know what direction to send a message? Assuming they sent it out in all directions (just to make sure), why would NASA try to contact extraterrestrials?

It would make our life so much easier if we knew where such planet is. So we would just focus on how to get there.
