Well, I think that she's correct on some of her points, but I disagree with all of it being a bad thing. This again shows me that Malkin is more of a a social conservative than a political one...this sounds like the stuff on NPR that puts me to sleep. Well, I think that she's correct on some of her points, but I disagree with all of it being a bad thing. This again shows me that Malkin is more of a a social conservative than a political one...this sounds like the stuff on NPR that puts me to sleep. They should recognize that there still are very many hard willed and motivated individuals out there, but instead they're pining over the good ol' days of the depression and saying society is falling apart, just like any other collectivist.

I notice how few people (read young people) are able to get a good paying job in my industry (biotechnology) because of their lack of professionalism (they dress like homeless people or moronic gang bangers, write like a 3rd grader on PCP, non-existent work ethic and attitude of entitlement) but hey its their "right" to express themselves, it's also their right to be homeless.

I guess that has more to do with what your profession is. I work in the design/technology field and most business clients i meet are wearing hundred dollar tshirts and thousand dollar sneakers. Then again Im self employed and so are most people I work with. True some people just bum it out but there are those who cant afford formal wear.
