  • can you explain those lines, gul to gul......

  • xal1257

you wrote right about this ghazal bezs life is uncomplet without sorrows

  • Nice Song

  • Those who r habituated to live among flowers are unknown to the pain of thorns, when one gets wounded with thorns of flowers, would understand the value of the flowers, same way, those who are indulged in happiness, would only know the comfortableness of happiness, only when involved in sorrow and pain.this is the secret of life, here simile flowers r happines n thorns r pain n sorrow of life,so "Koi samjega kya raji gulshan, jab talak uljena kanto se daman" is fitting lines of this sufical gazal.

  • @imrantlg, to my ears it sounds like gulcheen which is a word and makes perfect sense in this scenario, unless you have a reference to the poet's book? I am happy with my understanding. If if it sounds gulshan to you, I don't mind either :)

  • Only someone who understand the meaning of this beautiful ghazal would appreciate it. But if you have lost someone close to heart Just like Jagjit and Chitra you will understand they sang their hearts out.

  • lovely

  • hi yaar koi hum ko is word ka meaning batyee shateer nasihmen

  • @kingkhan2068 It basically stands for NEST but in poetry it is used for HOME.

  • @kingkhan2068 Nasheman basically stands for NEST but in poetry it is used for HOME. SHAAKH-e-NASHEMAN means foundation on which a home is built.

  • another evergreen sung by malodious couple chitrajee and jagjeet jee but unfortunately they are divorced now. Thanks my friend for nice upload.

  • lovely song

  • @akarshik who told you they are divorced? They are still together. May they be always together.

  • @mjainktc : Well My friend someone misguided me and placed my comment then as i loved these fantastic both husband and wife Singers. I wish them to be together forever. However thanks once again for showing your concern which is obvious.

  • @mjainktc

SirG, they are not living together anymore, and to me personally I feel when they both sing together, they are unparallel, beyond reach. Did you know she is Bengali and he is Punjabi, and what a scene was created when they got married. Anyways, i grew up listening to them and whenever I feel I need to be myself, I listen to their old numbers. For sure they are not together , he tourned vancouver about couple of years ago and was with a lady who everybody thinks is her new muse.

  • Superb

  • Jagjit Chitra..real magic..
