rap is usually 95. but thanks to the fact that you can skip beats, its about 70, dubstep uses this alot to get fast wobbles but 70-80 bpm beats. simply use this to remake your song a bit and slow it. this is little more then something you would hear in a sound track. still good. but your right, fast as hell
great beat man. i went through the whole tutorial and learned alot of simple techniques that just improve the melody making process in some of my own beats. the only thing i dont understand is where did you put the hook? most hip hop beats are 4 or 8 bars for the intro, 16 for the verse, 4 or 8 for the hook (usually 8) repeated 3 times with a 4 or 8 bridge before or after the 2nd hook. still, the best tut ive seen on you tube for constructing a melody though by far.
is te melody a midi file? sounds familiar. anyway man really tight production, this sort of music usually aint stuff i listen too, im more in to up beat electronic music (hardcore mainly). this i really nice chilled music. enjoyed listening to it. so keep up good work dude :)
