  • A hand powered turntable for standard gauge? Wow! Here in America most standard gauge turntables are motorized and 9f's are small (about the size of an average narrow gauge 2-8-2 in America, and those are tiny compared to most of the standard gauge stuff here).

  • @atsf3415dbr yeah the way its engineered means that two men can push around a locomotive, quiet incredible really as I don't think most people know a typical british steam loco weighs around 70 tons - before you add a loaded tender!

  • Some very nice shots with wonderful light!

  • Thank you, the weather was kind (for once haha) during this gala, just the wind we needed to loose haha

  • Another excellent production from you Josh, with the final shot of The Duke topping the bill....5* Bob

  • Thank you Bob, with the Duke we were hoping the sun would stay out for an apperance and as the train started to get away from Bishops Lydeard a cloud got in the way, but I think everyone in the field was then glad to see it move and the sun shine down creating brilliant conditions.

  • Wow! What great coverage of the event! Thank you!

  • Thank you, more to come from the final day too.
