Here is what I don't get. Why would you make two or three FULL practice swings and then hit a knock down shot? Your practice swings are suppose to resemble the shot you are getting ready to hit!

@cod4aac Having the ball back in stance puts spin on the ball which makes the ball fly up (not wanted for knockdown shots). As Phil Mickelson said, don't change the ball position (keep in middle). Just use a lower lofted club and take a shorter swing. No need for name calling dude, especially when your comment makes you look like an ass.

If you want an even lower ballflight, put it way back in your stance, off your back foot. Hit down aggressively on it with the face shut and keep your follow through low. You'll get a boring trajectory with a ton of spin, so you can hop and stop it after it lands. Good shot for getting out of trouble and in wind. Aim left though because you will tend to push it with the ball further back. Good tempo (maybe a little slow) and smooth weight shift on that swing, nice.
11 handicap isnt "amazing" its not bad, but be realistic. i was a 1.6 hcp right before my 15th birthday and i was still getting beat in state tournaments. you have a good swing, so it has to be the short game. i recommend carrying a P, 52, 56, 60 or 64

Keep Practing hard kid. By the time you are 18 yrs old and have filled out a bit more you will be a much better player. Swing is good for a 14 year old. Experience is the key so play as much as you can in tournaments and continue to practice.

ur hands and shaft are too far behind the ball at address. If you could finish your real swing like you do your practice swing you would hit it a lot better. Also your body is way ahead of the ball and your just swinging with your arms. that shot did not end up in the middle of the green and u know that bud.

u have a bit of a sway ur ur coming over the ball which causes inconsistency in ball flight u have a small dip and these together are taking away ur power im a 5 handicap and 14 and 5 6 judging by ur swing that went 130 tops ur swing speed is like 80-90 but keep working ur have pretty good swing

Keep Practing hard kid. By the time you are 18 yrs old and have filled out a bit more you will be a much better player. Swing is good for a 14 year old. Experience is the key so play as much as you can in tournaments and continue to practice.

ur hands and shaft are too far behind the ball at address. If you could finish your real swing like you do your practice swing you would hit it a lot better. Also your body is way ahead of the ball and your just swinging with your arms. that shot did not end up in the middle of the green and u know that bud.
