the question is, does it work doing what is suposed to do?
answer YES
could be better? YES, les bulky and with a fade in vibration / beep
should be more precise with the 8 minute range thing (to be abile to analyse our monitorized night? ) yes, that 8 minute thing sux (anyway i dont watcvh ever the graphs...or conect to pc....i just care if it awakes me when im not in a deep sleeps....as always does)
what a fuckin pussy bulky wrist watch . you dumb fuck for some people they would do anything for a good nights sleep. this reporter needs put his skirt away .
omg, using an accellerometer to detect your stage of sleep is 100% fail. You can only do it effectively by detecting brain waves. And there was me thinking this watch was cool until I saw this video.
@firkinfedup of course the accelleromoeter will not detect you stage, but at least detects if you are awake or half awake, and this will avoid vibrating when you are deep.....i d first the standard it worked but i hated the beep, then i bought the pro like 3 years ago and is awesome wake up in a light sleep and with just a simple vibration (that could be improoved with a fade in vibration) i mailed the owner...asking for this in the next watch,,,,which i ll buy definately
Yo, what about all the people who wear oxygen CPAP masks due to obstructed breathing. Thats bulky but they get used to it and sleep well. This guy really is a pussy!
Its a watch, I always wear my watch in bed without any problems, mine is big and metal??
Sounds like a bit of a fanny this reporter.
The idea for the product is good, the technology is basic made on a budget but will still offer some interesting data.
The technology exists for much more detailed sleep analysis in both wrist watches and small devices but they cost much much more and are mainly targeted at specialists to pass on to patients for one night only, of course they will not
a off beat device, be silent u ape!

Thanks for the info!

You're so full of it. Monitoring body movement is a good way to know when you're not in a deep sleep.
Verdoux007 2 years ago
No it isn't. I know quite a bit about sleep and sleep related issues thank you very much. This is crap.
firkinfedup 2 years ago
You can posture all you want, but it still doesn't change the fact that, all the reviews of these sorts of gadgets say that the technology works.

Really now.

Bad review...it's not telling you when to get up. If you get up too early, just hurl it out the window if you don't like it. Sheesh...

Why not just compliment it with a sweatband then if it's so uncomfortable? <.<
Zeithri 2 years ago
hmm, i have the watch and it's really only uncomfortable if you focus on it too much. Just get to sleep.
If your not tired enough to get to sleep without pondering what you're wearing, then you shouldn't be going to sleep.
The sleeptracker watch is about optimal wake up time anyway, not optimal bed time.

Did he suck?? Nope, just focusing on the uselessness. The idea is great, but the implemention sucks
