To be bitten is unlucky, but if it's a dry bite, this is obviously a lot better than a full dose of venom being squirted into your bloodstream I guess!

It seems that if you are bite for a phoneutria you will die. I think that can happens, depend if you are more sensible to poison of it, but usually not happens. The video is wrong. The loxosceles is the most dangerous spider. The phoneutria bite hurts a lot, the loxosceles bite not. But in the days after, the loxosceles poison is more critical for humans.
@codonauta Loxosceles only even causes necrosis about a third of the time. And in the absolute worst case you need a skin graft, which only happens about 2% of the time. It also never kills or causes any damage worse than some scarring. How is that the most dangerous spider?

Necrosis after a Loxosceles bite can be very extensive, can cause extensive infections after, which can not be easy to treat. Loxoscelles can causes others serious problems, as renal and hepatic failure, and vital coagulation disturb.
@codonauta I don't remember the systemic symptoms being very frequent, and I'm not sure the necrosis getting beyond a few square inches, what are your sources?

@crushcrs Yes, and the necrotizing effect deppends of the luck of bitten person too. Some people develop the necrosis, others not.
