I discovered the series and character a little late, but I was still a kid when I found that VHS, now I own all the episodes on DVD. :) Ever since Sonic 2 , Sonic heroes, Sonic X and this show, I've been a fan ever since.

There are 4 differant Sonic shows in the U.S. this was the best one, a couple dozen characters and the best opening theme. I have been looking for a volcalized version of this song that I can download, but can't find one if any one knows where I can get it tell me it does't have to be free I can pay for it.

@ShadowPhoenix142 I believe this was used only for the first runs of the season 1 episodes, and then it was replaced by the season 2 intro song, which was used for all later runs,DVD's, and probably VHS releases ( not sure on that though, as I never owned the VHS Tapes). I have this on several tapes I made of this show, and I can tell you that this was the original song.

Yup, in fact you can get the whole series in one box for a fairly reasonable price. There were only 2 seasons made. The writer wanted to make more, however it was discontinued.

This was the grown folk version of Sonic the Hedgehog. The other one that came on weekday was the little kids version. I loved them both, but this one had some edge to it. And Sonic was alot more cooky on this one.

This was my favourite Sonic. It wasn't cheesy, it wasn't a silly cartoon for 3 year olds. This was when they realised sonic should be cool, not just a prankster.

I loved everything about this cartoon and I was genuinely upset when it stopped airing.

It had very involving plots such as bunny being evil etc.

I urge new sonic fans to check out this old school cartoon. It was amazing back in the day and unlike the older cheesier sonic cartoon, it still holds up today. Such an amazing theme tune.
