Even the Rugrats had this via Angelica, Chuckie, and Tommy, given that Phil & Lil were just seemingly there to round out the gang and all later additions were just done to pad the series, it seems.
Well, the premise of "Keeper of the Reaper" is that Billy has to move, but then the judge forces Billy's family to stay, in order to make sure Billy and Mandy--who are, to Mandy's chagrin, best friends anyway--continue to share Grim. If reworked into the Invader ZIM storyline, ZIM and Gaz could share Dib, since they both hate him (as well as most of humanity) and share other commonalities.
Other commonalities--beyond hating humanity for its stupidity--would include: Using piggies in their endeavors, sharing the same food tastes (albeit ZIM has the Irken equivalent), going into seizure-esque spazz fits (for ZIM, it's due to his personality, and for Gaz, it only happens when she's extremely angry), et al. Nevermind that the hero of Gaz's Vampire Piggy Hunter videogame looks like ZIM as a Tallest with a leather overcoat, for some reason.

He HATES the Zim/Dib idea and he said that Zim & Tak will ALWAYS be enemies, hence NO ZATR. Thus, by proxy of elimination, by comments made by the voice cast, and by the synopsis of "Invader Dib"--where Gazlene goes with Zim to Irk, after Dib & Tak are both blasted to Saturn--ZAGR & DATR are the only compatible choices left for pairs, if they existed on IZ.

Why IS it that there's often a headstrong (sometimes either as a dark goth or as a blond bully); an idiot, one who's overly careful, or a golden boy; and a straight man in many of these things?
Gaz, ZIM, Dib
Mandy, Billy, Grim
Raven, Beast Boy, Cyborg
Even the Rugrats had this via Angelica, Chuckie, and Tommy, given that Phil & Lil were just seemingly there to round out the gang and all later additions were just done to pad the series, it seems.

Well, the premise of "Keeper of the Reaper" is that Billy has to move, but then the judge forces Billy's family to stay, in order to make sure Billy and Mandy--who are, to Mandy's chagrin, best friends anyway--continue to share Grim. If reworked into the Invader ZIM storyline, ZIM and Gaz could share Dib, since they both hate him (as well as most of humanity) and share other commonalities.

Other commonalities--beyond hating humanity for its stupidity--would include: Using piggies in their endeavors, sharing the same food tastes (albeit ZIM has the Irken equivalent), going into seizure-esque spazz fits (for ZIM, it's due to his personality, and for Gaz, it only happens when she's extremely angry), et al. Nevermind that the hero of Gaz's Vampire Piggy Hunter videogame looks like ZIM as a Tallest with a leather overcoat, for some reason.

@midnavaati222: If you're inferring ZADR there, Johnen would most likely throw up, hunt you down & gut you like a fish, then keel over. He HATES the Zim/Dib idea and he said that Zim & Tak will ALWAYS be enemies, hence NO ZATR. Thus, by proxy of elimination, by comments made by the voice cast, and by the synopsis of "Invader Dib"--where Gazlene goes with Zim to Irk, after Dib & Tak are both blasted to Saturn--ZAGR & DATR are the only compatible choices left for pairs, if they existed on IZ.
