One of the best floor fillers ever, Remember being in the Park nightclub near Preston with Black glasses and red braces LOL. 25 years later and I still have it on a CD in the car.... Wish I had a time machine
You know when you were a kid and you heard a track that made you feel so fucking good. You would just play it over and over and your friends couldn't really understand but you didn't care. This track was one of those.
is it me but i feel ike that i am liveing my life in reverce, i was about 15 when this record came out the energy and drive and optimism in music and the world in general more progressive back in late 1980, in 2011 the music the world in general seems dull regressive , most of the barriers that were broken down in the late 80s, are now back up, back in late 80s black white and asian mix more freely, black music was influncncing white and asian artist at the time, it sad times now
@zandos27 don't forget you were a kid and kids see things differently than adults do. Things have improved, but as an adult you see it more, as it's easily recognisable. I think what's happened is that britain become more cosmopolitan and people are scared of change and feel threatened when there's no real need to. Times are only sad if you let it be that way!:)
Fuck sake, this is when I used to wear a L´Acoste scarf across my face, dark glasses and an FP designer shirt.....then go and terrorise the neighbourhood, break into houses, steal cars, deal some drugs, beat people up, get dragged away in cuffs, get bailed and go and stand on the Stretford End !!! What a twat !!! I am truly sorry to everyone that was affected by my stupid behaviour.
Just want to say that youre a legend for posting this. I've not heard the full 12" version for years as I lost my copy. If anyone knows where I can download the full version that would be awesome :)
BRILLIANT SUPERSMASHING GENIUS! And as for request could you convince
Malcolm MacLaren to upload his all-time masterpiece the 12" of Somethings Jumpin in your shirt?! The one released on one side of vinyl only? Oh please
@lewis72 com on, godley n creme so 70's son, embrase the not so new world of house, put the rolloing stones records in the loft, take a few purp ohmmes and chill, and realise our generations are gone, in the past, better than whats available now, but gone, 80's is now retro hip, flares are definately out
Haha!! You're leaning against an open door here!! I'm right now listening to Malcolm McClaren's Buffalo Girls. I love that '80s dance to bits. My favourite being M|A|R|R|S (which I have on 7") !! I have a BMX Burner, which I built/sprayed up into a Team Chrome Burner (that Raleigh never built), a white Sharp QT89 ghetto blaster and S'Express, Bomb the Bass and the like on 12" vinyl !!
Have also thoroughly embraced Nero & Cassius, so that's very 2010/11 !!
Quality...:)

It's "Jack 'n' Chill" not "Jill". You should change that so this great upload gets all the views it deserves!

...whilst being corrected, It's
"The Jack that House built", not
"The House That Jack Built"
This track is also a sample/rip-off of Snack Attack by Godley & Creme
