I love that you are looking at the true meaning of the bible. We have to believe that this ancient scripture has truth to it.
Although I believe its meaning has been skewed over time through mistranslation and misunderstanding, I also believe that the answers we seek are there, and enlightenment will help to make them clear.
Keep seeking the truth and Keep changing the world one mind at a time! Thank you!
Thank you for your continued insight Deepak. You are one of the main reasons I was able to liberate myself from 30 yrs of protestant fear/belief. I like the explanation that we are all energy...Can't be created nor destroyed, can be in many places at once (superposition), always has been & always will be. Sad how the church hijacks this for the definition of it's god. Thank you for showing me my devinity. I will be forever greatful!
Chopra's a pantheist. In pantheism there is ultimately no basis for "I and Thou" relationships, to borrow from Martin Buber. While I am very sympathetic to Hinduism and it's outgrowth, Buddhism, I am not for the ultimate dissolution of the ego. One, I don't think that's possible; also I think the ego is not the problem, but the direction it is pointed in. We were meant to have loving, unselfish conscious "I AND Thou" communion with the infinite uncreated and his finite creatures.
Hello Deepak, You r one of my heroes, thank you for all u do. All good things to you. I wanted to ask your opinion of Tom Harpurs book "the Pagan Christ" I'm sure you're familiar with the notion that Jesus is not actually a real historical person, but a fictional character based on ancient stories, astrological in nature and common to many cultures especially Egyptian, Perhaps u address this idea in your book or elsewhere, I don't know.
Hello Dr. Chopra, Thank you so much for making videos for YouTube. I am so happy to find you here. Your book helped me very much. I have my own god who I pray to. He comes in different forms, one is life Great Dane, one is cubist Great Dane and one is cubist human type shape. They are all on my channel. I like your cubist painting in the back ground. Much love for you. I am a big fan of you. Nicola
"Then the Lord God said, 'See, the man has become like on of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever'."
Taking the position that we are all One or - in a way of understanding our duality - part of the One, we remove ourselves from the authority of all dogma... all churches.
And that scares and befuddles the bejezus out of those who would have control.
This position also puts the responsibility for their own evolution square on the shoulders of the individual rather than it being a gift from some benevolent, Cosmic Sugar Daddy - depending on his mood at the time.
Perhaps you discuss this idea in your new book, but why do you think Jesus refers to God as Father? Why does he assign the masculine title to God? This is the most difficult thing for me, a Christian, about Jesus. If I'm not mistaken, though, in the Old Testament there is almost no reference to God as either gender. My theory is that Jesus was trying to say that God is NOT an unknowable king, but a personal, warm reality, a love that is accessible as the love of a gentle father.
Greetings Deepak, I am grateful for your energy and commitment in illuminating the Truth of this universal gift we call Life. Navigating our earthly existence, thankfully, just comes down to how we understand the nature of fear and Love. And we are eternally free to explore both. Cheers!
God Bless you Deepak. I realised a few months ago that perhaps BRETHREN in the bible/or scriptures does not directly signify the word brother(s) but to "they who had breath" or " them who had received the breath of life". Including our sisters and fellow animals and other living souls. I love the expression in my heart when I greet my cat; " My breathing brother". Containing love.
God Bless you again Deepak. Who has breath, therefore my brother.......
Thank you for your time and inspirational messages . . . I look forward to your newest book. Bless you!

I have heard DC talk and saying that God is not male or female and i think he does talk about that in his book.

Also, Jesus could have simply been misquoted.
